Laundry

Wear, wash, fold, put away. I wore them, I washed them… I never put them away. I didn’t know when this would end.. Where’s the rule or the quote that tells you what to do with his stuff when it’s over. I cleaned today… Went up stairs and looked at my hamper and I slowly pulled garments and put them away. I saw his shirt mixed into mine… I grabbed it. Folded it. Put it away.

It put me into a fueled fit that I directed towards vigorously cleaning. But now that I’m done cleaning I’m just staring at his shirt… What do I do with all the memories? Is there a way to tuck them away at the bottom of the pile? They’ve been through a few cycles lately, but I can’t seem to put them away. I tuck the shirts in the bottom of the drawer. I guess that's it.
