This year/winter, I'm all about buying key pieces in my closet: items that can transition into different seasons and that I will be able to wear for years. I've bought significantly less, but I've purchased investment pieces - my first real leather jacket, a few pairs of nice shoes, suede jacket...you get the picture ;) The main reason we skip (at least for me) is that we think investment items come with a hefty price tag? As January comes to end, my healthy resolutions are still in full swing with some help from Marshalls. Since I have been on this workout kick lately and going 3-4x a week, I always have to change it up and keep myself feeling cute at the gym. It gets way too expensive trying to build a new gym clothes wardrobe, so Marshalls and TJ Maxx were my GO-TO'S when finding all my new favorite workout gear! The best quality for seriously amazing prices!

I dressed the look down with a crossbody bag and distressed jeans. I was shocked to find this designer blouse on sale at Marshalls for only $10!
