A soft boom was suddenly heard and Ring flinched. It was hard to admit, but she isn’t a fan of thunderstorms. ’Lui-kun… I wish you were here…’

The sound of the door opening startled her and she hold back in a gasp. She smiled sheepishly towards them.

Hearing the boom of the thunder, Yukari chuckled and headed towards the nearest store so she could get her biscuits. After doing so, she walked to a place where she wouldn’t get soaked by the rain. There seemed to be someone already occupying the room.

Gently knocking on the door before entering, she looked around. There was a young girl inside, who looked around her own age. Seeing her flinch at the sound of the thunder showed that it really wasn’t hard to guess that she didn’t like it.

{✘} “…I’m alright.”

She nods, half to herself. She doesn’t feel like she’s about to faint…is she paler than usual? Is she running a fever? These ideas run through her mind, but she knows that the girl ahead of her is too far to tell her temperature, and Ib is always pale to begin with. As such, she brushes the idea off; she’s fine, no doubt about it, just scared.

“Are you sure?”

Now thinking about it, Yukari realizes that she has no idea where she is. This child seems to look very nervous, as if waiting for something bad to happen. Luckily for her calm nature, maybe she can take control of the matter? It’s doubtful, but maybe a solution. Hopefully things will turn out better in the long run.

He blinks. At first, he’s only stunned, confused—well, he hadn’t really expected that to be part of her response. When was the last time anyone, even any VOCALOID, recognised him? Aside from Ring, he… it was lonely, wasn’t it? He wasn’t going to say it, aloud or signed or as pixels on a screen, but it was. Why else would he…

A look of confusion crossed Yukari’s face as she looked at his puzzled expression, why did he look so shocked? Maybe it was because her response wasn’t expected? Ah, did most of the Vocaloids think there was something wrong with her? If they did, well— that would be completely horrible. Was that the real truth behind their ‘fake’ smiles?

A bad feeling washed over her as she watched him type. Hopefully this wasn’t going to be anything bad. However he was designed to be…what was it, twelve years old? So hopefully it’d be fine. A look to the phone was all she needed for another smile to be planted on her face. “Of course I do! How could I not? Heh, you’re too kind really.” A hand reaches out to pat the younger module’s head. “I’m glad you’re okay too, but just out of curiosity. How exactly did I look lonely?”

The blonde stood next to the lavender haired girl, she passed by her a couple of times so far but has not had the chance to talk to her. She did not have the chance to talk to many of the new Vocaloids- her nervousness did not help, but for some reason seeing her look at her work made her slightly more confidential the approach.

The photos displayed on the wall were all of the bustling city, the quality was very high and there was the occasional familiar faces in some of them, the colours and contrast could take ones breath away, most of them were just landscape a bit repetitive some would say but all the beautiful. Why the studio would hang them up is beyond thought, pity? perhaps but maybe for aesthetic look; that’s what Rin liked to believe.

She turned to the lavender haired girl, a brief moment; thinking of somethingt to say, but also admiring her outfit. Lucky present Vocaloids…they get all the cool clothes, and what am I? A bloody sailor or somethin.

“Heh, you could say that, yes.”

Yukari had been walking around all day, with nothing specific to do. Everything was just boring, so why couldn’t she go over and talk to the blonde female? Yukari hadn’t really conversed with her before, so it would be interesting to find out what her personality is like. Hopefully it was a good one, and with the amount of fans she has… her personality probably was beautiful.

Her mouth took the shape of an ‘o’ as she gazed upon all the wondrous paintings before her. Apparently these were all by Rin Kagamine herself? Now to have the skill to paint /and/ sing, she was definitely a very well-versed lady. Though Yukari herself was very fond of the piano and singing, she didn’t think her skills could match up to the other. Of course they wouldn’t, she’s from Crypton. One of the big stars, heh…

“This painting is really well done, I have to say… with a singing voice like that but also the gift of a paintbrush, you’re going to go far. I’d give my all to have such beautiful skills. You should use them wisely.”

The girl was so brightly colored that it was rather impossible for the child’s eye not to be drawn to her. For a moment, a chill runs down her spine- since her time in the gallery, bright colors always made her feel unsafe. But Ib’s safe now, so there’s no reason for her to be afraid of this girl. 

Ah, what a day she’s having. Talk about busy! Just thinking about it, every day seems to be more hectic than usual. Something important must be going on! At least she was on her break and enjoying a coffee, otherwise Yukari would probably end up going crazy. Unbeknownst to her, a young girl was sitting next to her. Uwah! Must be blind not to notice that!
