     ↱   ✂  ↲   How strange it is to see an unfamiliar face in the town garden.

   Not many people visited it; a real shame.    It really was a lovely garden though.

   Would it be considered rude to greet the girl?    Or would the silence be awkward for both parties?

                            She'll go with the latter for today, speaking with a smile;

He could sign to Ring her own name without receiving the usual weird or confused looks, so he does, smiling genuinely, reassured by her presence as always. Perhaps so reassured that he wouldn't mind talking of sensitive things--but he won't tread there, not yet, maybe not ever. He doesn't want to worry her. Alarm her, or blow his own carefully crafted cover... perhaps? He didn't fear her rejecting him, but he did fear her fussing. He did fear her forgetting about herself.

Ring was far too wonderful to go forgotten, even in her own mind.
