her  brow  raises  almost  instantly  as  she  catches  a  glimpse  of  the  girl  in  front  of  her.  she  recgonizes  her,  but  it  doesn’t  come  immediately  until  she  hears  her  voice.  'you  need  my  help?’  she  questions,  'i  think  i  might  need  help  after  seeing  you  alive…’

“Trust me, I feel the same,” Bree said, the burning in her throat distracting her momentarily before she turned back to the blonde. “I don’t know what’s going on, but I woke up here and I’m clearly not dead,” she said. “I don’t know how, or why, but I need your help.”

MG was glad that she took the bag. He really didn’t want to leave her and she ended up killing someone. That would not make this whole thing go smoothly if people were afraid they’d be someone’s next meal. “Um, well, my name is Milton but most people just call me MG.” MG told her with a soft smile. “I’ve seen the look of hunger before, like I said and I know that you don’t think clearly when you are hungry. So, I thought I’d save you before you ended up hurting someone and regretting it.”

Bree was still struggling to work him out. He was not like her, but clearly he was. She’d spent a lot of time around newborns, and she’d met older vampires, too, and none of them were the same, and she wasn’t sure why. “You’re a vampire,” she said, clear confusion in her voice. “Your eyes. Are you wearing contacts?” she questioned, gesturing to her own crimson irises. “Yours aren’t yellow, either,” she added, remembering the Cullens and their vegetarian diet.

“Sorry, I usually go into the woods with the stress of the real world gets too much.” MG told her. That was when he smelled her, she had the same scent he had, she was also a vampire and by the look of her panic and her eyes, she was hungry. “Here.” He pulled out a blood bag and handed it over to her. “Don’t take it the wrong way, but you look hungry and not the kind where you need a burger…unless it was still in cow form.”

Bree was confused. The person before her was a vampire, clearly, but he was different. His eyes weren’t like her own crimson irises, and they weren’t like the golden orbs of the Cullen’s either. Regardless, the blood in the bag was too hard to resist, and she had sucked it dry in seconds. It dulled the burn enough for her to truly concentrate on the stranger. “Who are you?” she asked cautiously, eyeing him up and down as she kept a distance between them. Strangers she’d met in the past, especially of the vampire variety, hadn’t always been so pleasant, and he was different.

         she’d  had  a  premonition  of  bree  around  here  ,   wandering  ,   a  bit  on  edge  -  and  alice  figures  …  well  ,   may  as  well  be  there  for  the  sort  of  newborn  ,   especially  considering  she  really  didn’t  have  anyone  else  .    ‘  bree  ,   it’s  just  me  -  ’   alice’s  twinkling  voice  rings  out  ,   golden  eyes  flickering  over  the  other  .    ‘  alice  cullen  .   how  are  you  …  how  are  you  doing ?  i  thought  i’d  come  find  you  after  seeing  you  in   a  vision  .   this  can’t  be  easy  .  ’  

The vampire was someone she remembered, from the last minutes of her life when she’d thought she might have a chance to live. When the Cullens had offered her a way out. But alas, Bree’s second life was meant to be shortlived, it seemed, as the Volturi tore away any chance of living she had. “Alice?” she said, confusion clear on her features. “How am I here? What’s going on?”

        he recognized her.  she was the girl from the newborn army that the volturi killed.  how was it possible that she standing in front of him right now  ?  was it possible that the force that merged the towns had also resurrected her  ?  “  i don’t either,  but you look like you could use help.  “  noticing her crimson eyes,  he flinched at the burn he felt in his own throat.  given the state she was in,  she posed a threat to the nearby humans.  edward knew he needed to get her away from town before something bad happened.  “  follow me.  “  motioning towards his left,  he began to walk towards the nearby forest,  hoping the newborn would follow him.

It took Bree a moment to recognise his face, the moments leading up to her death replaying over in her head. He was Edward. The vampire Victoria had wanted revenge on. Seeing him only made her more confused, and before she could speak he was off, and she was following, the burning in her throat almost all-consuming. “What’s going on?” she managed, trailing behind him. “I was dead. How am I here?”
