You guys know that mike in manhattan skit was not in any way cannon right... People keep acting like it was cannon and it ruined lumax when first of all it was a snl skit and second of all the whole point is it is out of character because they aren't supposed to be portraying their characters they are supposed to be portraying characters from sex and the city.

If you want an idea of how much attention the GA pays to what's going on in stranger things my mother despite watching both s2 and 3 got to season 4 thought that max and steve were the same age and shipped them 😭😭😭 (i had to pull up pictures of max in s2 to prove that they weren't the same age because for some reason she misrembered and thought max joined when she was a teenager. You genuinely can't make this up)

Look i liked delightful derek as much as the next person and I thought the turnbow trap and the mission to smuggle the kids out of the MacZ was funny asf but all those children did not need to be in the season. Like it could have just been holly that was taken and the plot would be exactly the same just with less unnecessary characters
