I apologize for surprising everyone with such a sudden announcement. I’m sorry.

At the end of March 2020, X4 which has been active since 2015, will come to an end.

We were able to be active until now thanks to all of the members, the staff that always helps us, and more than anything, all of the fans. I truly cannot thank you enough.

Though we said that we wanted to show all of you different views, it felt like instead, you showed us many sceneries. Thank you so much.

And, everyone who met through X4. The five members of X4.

Meeting all of you is my greatest treasure.

I want to make this final tour the best.

Until the very end of March next year, please continue to support X4.

This is KODAI. My apologies for surprising you with this sudden announcement. X4 has been active for around 4 years. Though there have been a lot of troubles, more than that, it’s been the most fun time. I love X4. X4 as it is will no longer exist, but even when I’m a grandfather, I’ll be X4’s KODAI. To all of our staff, all of the members, and more than anyone, all of Xbaby, thank you very much for this happy time. YUYA, KODAI, T-MAX, and JUKIYA will be on different paths from now on, but please continue to cheer us on. And I want to make X4’s last tour, the best tour until now. Until the very end, I ask for your support.

This is T-MAX. Since X4 formed, 4 years has passed, but I still remember standing on-stage for the first time as X4 as if it was yesterday. For me, these 4 years have gone by in a flash, but in these 4 years, it’s as if I’ve had all of the activities in my life until now. For all of the staff, and Xbaby who have supported and cheered us on until now, I’m full of gratitude. To meet again and laugh together in the future, I’m going to work hard in my life from now on.

This is JUKIYA. I apologize for surprising you with this sudden announcement. It’s been around 3 years since I joined X4 as a new member. For me, these 3 years have been a truly exciting and intense 3 years. To all of the members who went through both hard times and fun times together with me, and to the staff who have always supported me, and most of all, to all of the fans, I’m grateful beyond words. I want to use what I’ve learned with X4’s activities in my activities from now on. Please continue to give your support from now on. I’ll really love X4 forever.

I learned from Yuya-kun that there was an announcement about disbandment. Honestly, I was shocked. I think the fans are shocked too, but aren’t the members even more shocked? I think so! Even if they disband, X4’s songs won’t be erased, and the memories with fans will never disappear!

In the time that’s left, until March, please make even more “wonderful memories”! That’s all that can be done!! If the fans all come together in great numbers, I think they’ll save the members of X4! Of course, I’m going to burn the image of X4’s members’ performances into my memory, too.

It’s T-MAX. To Xbaby who is always supporting us, I’m truly sorry to bring such an unfortunate announcement this time. I still remember the first day I met SHOTA. We met at the auditions for new X4 members, SHOTA had no dance experience, but he tried harder than anyone and remembered all of the choreography for the next rehearsal, so I thought I wanted to work with this person. After becoming a five-member X4, we’ve spent a lot of time together all over the country and overseas, and he’s a friend who’s fought to build up X4. I’m proud of that fact, which won’t ever change in the future. SHOTA is graduating from X4, but our being friends won’t change, and our friendship won't change from now on. I want our last live with five members to be the best concert for SHOTA’s sake and for Xbaby. Please send him off with a SHOTA-like brightness! T-MAX

My sincere apologies for giving such a sudden report to the fans at this time. The thought behind SHOTA’s graduation announcement is of X4, we thought about the four of us after this, and reached this decision after thinking deeply about it, so I sincerely hope no fans come out to criticize SHOTA for doing something bad. Though I don’t think there’s anyone like that in Xbaby. If there’s anyone who criticizes my treasured friend SHOTA who’s struggled with me, I’ll graduate too! SHOTA isn’t to blame for anything. It’s JUKIYA. I think the first time I met SHOTA was just about two years ago, at the audition for new members of X4. I’d just come out to Tokyo from Osaka by myself, so I had a lot of anxieties, but I practiced every day, and went out to eat with SHOTA-kun. It was difficult, but fun. When the two of us passed the audition and became members of X4, I was really happy. SHOTA-kun is a really hard worker, and whenever I saw that, I was motivated too and thought I have to work harder too. He really helped me. There’s a lot that I still don’t know, and I’ve caused the members a lot of trouble, but he’s been like an older brother who gives advice and scolds me. The paths we go down after graduating from X4 will be different, but as friends who can motivate each other, I’ll try even harder than now so that you’ll say, “JUKIYA, you’ve worked hard.” And I’ll support SHOTA-kun with all my power, too. So that 12/28, 29′s concerts will be the best ones up till now, and we can send SHOTA-kun off on his graduation with everyone’s smiles, I’ll do my very best. JUKIYA

I can’t tell you all of the details of what was said, but at that time, there was already talk of X4′s dissolution.

But, [after] proposing the continuation of X4 to the company, I, SHOTA, have been active as a member of X4 until today, the deadline that was decided on.

This decision did not come easily, of course, and from the day I had that chance, I’ve piled up countless discussions with the members and staff, thought about it on my own, and troubled over it day after day.

Even under such circumstances, I should work firmly as an adult member of society, it’s the standard thing to do. Without cutting corners, as always, I’ve been giving it my all until now. [TN: ‘an adult member of society’ usually refers to someone like an office worker with a ‘regular’ job]

However, to say that the time I’ve spent as X4′s SHOTA has been all completely satisfactory isn’t totally honest. There were really difficult things, too.

Writing it like that, perhaps there are people who think, were you on stage just enduring your performances? [TN: vs. truly enjoying them]

It’s difficult to convey, but I don’t mean it in that way.

The work I’ve done showing my face has all been from the bottom of my heart, and I had fun doing it.

I loved those times with everyone.

I really loved them.

As the result of a lot of troubles, I reached this decision.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this sudden announcement.

Looking back now, there are a lot of different things, meeting YUYA-kun, T-MAX-kun, KODAI-kun, JUKIYA, and having activities together with them.

I’m proud to have been able to make music with these members.

As the one graduating, it’s not my place to say, but from now on, X4 needs all of the fans’ power.

Without changing, please continue to give your help to X4.

I will continue to love X4 in the future.

All of the fans who are a great family giving us support from all over the country, being able to walk step by step with those with me, and the time shared, no matter what anyone says, will be precious treasures to me from now on.

My graduation has been announced, but I’m not completely finished yet.

These two days are the last [performances] in my life, and the very last performances of X4 as a five-person group in front of all of you.

Of course, I’ve used all of my power with every performance since becoming part of X4.

Sometimes, I’ve collapsed after a LIVE.

But this is really the last one, so the LAST LIVE is even more than that.

For a final performance worthy of X4′s SHOTA.

From the beginning until the moment the last song’s sound stops ringing, I’ll give the performance my all.
