Osprey laughed and spoke, âThat sounds German." She replied softly before she lifted her head it had been about two minutes which meant they still had at least, nine minutes maybe before the storm broke out above their heads.Â
Her long hair was picked up by the wind, âSo what are you doing secluded out here? It must be lonely or do you have company often just appear?" She asked smiling clearly way too curious for her own good.
Her curiousity often got her in trouble and she took a couple steps backwards for safety reasons. Her head caught a sound off in the distance and she stomped her foot her Branch of Sin forming. She jumped back slightly as she held her hand to her ear listening. Letting her blood return to its former state at the sound of only thunder.Â
"We must be paranoidâŚ" She murmured under her breath and walked a little faster moving in front of him her eyes glancing behind. âWhatever it was its gone now." Her voice whispered as she awaited an answer from Marchen.
"It is," â no sooner does she part with her immediate reflection of his name than he offers a blunt return, simply because he believes so much goes without saying (the name draws directly from the aforementioned tongue, after all). Straightforward though this particular topic is, he nonetheless takes the time to throw a sidelong glance in the otherâs direction: one of some faint confusion, specifically as regards to what she finds so funny about his name sounding German, but largely oneâŚexpectant, in a word. Granted, his eyes flicker back to the path ahead of them every few seconds so that theyâre not led astray, and he ultimately expects little of the other anyway. Just for her to  betray a glimmer of bemusement, scepticism regarding the pseudonym (much as it canât be called a ânameâ entirely).
Thereâs nothing of the sort observed, however, as he should have expected â but never mind; this wouldnât have been the first such instance. Thus, the guide attention returns to what lies ahead, where it now remains for a good fewââŚseconds, actually.
Ironically, itâs not the sound which startles the other which similarly startles him: rather, itâs none other than her sudden reaction which causes his steps to come abruptly to a halt, and him to widen his eyes in a fleeting moment of surprise. The identity of the cause for her alarm - after having been quite easily determined as the rumble of thunder - serves to settle him within an instant; henceforth, then, he takes to simply watching his incidental companion during her moments of panic. Itâs a touch amusing, admittedly, for all the bravado sheâd displayed initially crumbles when faced with something as mundane as thunder. Whatâs more amusing yet, though, is the fact that he neednât even beckon her forwards so that they can continue their journey as soon as possible: she strides ahead of him before heâs even raised a hand to wave towards her; that heâs able to only stare dumbly after her for a couple of seconds is hardly surprising, given the spontaneity ofâ well, of her entire reaction, really.
Her most recent question lost amidst the spectacular of some moments ago, he extends his apologies to the other not long after heâs caught up with her, his head dipping in a gentle bow. (Indeed, he can vaguely remember the line of her query, but it couldnât help to ask.)
"âŚYouâll pardon my forgetfulness, but what is it youâd asked of me?" (A couple of bleary-eyed blinks.) âIâd momentarily been distracted by the thunder myself, I fear to say."
Turning from her gait in front of him Osprey felt an odd sort of feel on her back as she finished her reaction and her paranoia had settled, "We were leaving to get out of the rain."Â
She slowly turned toward him slightly while she watched him gently her body was definitely relaxed now and she was about to speak about how the storm was about to break out over their heads. She felt the wind change direction and pushed her hair down as it seemed to surround her head. "We should get moving." She didn't know it but she actually had a fear of lightning since she was a child but hey being in a super max prison is scary too so how was she supposed to know?
She stopped and glanced back, "How much farther is it Marchen?" Osprey questioned as a slight drop of moisture began to fall then stop. Her eyebrow twitched in annoyment from the weather and she pushed her hair away again. She allowed him to get his bearings before she'd snap out another demand or comment. Though she didn't have much patience it wasn't his fault he was suddenly distracted. She had made a fool of herself.
