Listening to the male’s words, she walked closer to the child. It seemed he did not mind her playing with his little one so she couldn’t help but doing so. His little smile encouraged her antics, causing her to lightly tickle his sides and stomach. Although this was her first time interacting with a child from the new world, she was happy to bring him such delight.

He was glad that someone had came to his rescue and calmed Jae down. He was more happy to see Jae smiling and giggling. He honestly thought Jae would be stuck with his bad attitude all day. He was thankful that she came over to make Jae smile.

She jumped as well at the male’s sudden actions, not expecting him to turn around so fast. If she had to be honest, she did not even see him as her focus was solely on the baby. At first she wondered if he actually was the father for he seemed to be too young to have children himself, but Alex reminded herself that things have changed since she last remembered. She quickly took a few steps back and bowed in his direction, hoping she did not make him upset. 『Forgive me. I just heard the child and I grew worried. I did not mean to startle you.』

Things have been difficult for him ever since Jaesuk’s mother left them. She was only a university student and they weren’t even dating for a month. Jiho usually never brought Jaesuk out shopping- he usually ran his errands when he was at daycare. But of course on this day, this horrible day he was having, his daycare provider had last minute called saying she was sick and daycare was closed for the day. Jaesuk woke up with a nasty attitude, it was like he was not having the day, he refused bath time, refused to get dressed, didn’t want to brush his hair. The kid is barely one, he’s 11 months and all he’s been saying is no all day.

He couldn’t help but laugh “yeah no don’t take her man. Just do you, be you, eat your weight in food. Ignore her comments, if eating makes you happy then shit do it, who honestly cares about others opinion”  he nodded and gave her an encouraging smile “food is good, makes people happy.”

“Food is better than people!” She decides with a light punch on the table, grinning and stuffing her cheeks with more of the brownie, then taking a spoonful of the sweet and moving it closer to the male’s lips. “Right?”

He laughed at her reaction, he agreed one hundred percent, food is better than people. He nodded his head in agreement before opening his mouth and taking a bite of the delicious sweet.

He laughed softly and nodded his head “yes, I, forever alone Jiho, surprisingly have a son. I’ll bring him with me sometime so you can see him.”  He could go on and on about his little man- no really he doesn’t know when to shut up sometimes. “and of course it would work, I mean she’ll get confused to why you are being so kind to her while she’s being nasty. If that don’t work then steal her man or something.”

A bright, excited smile played over her pink lips. “Yes, please! I adore kids! That’s why I love my work, you know? Full of cute kids everywhere!” She nods happily, but still stuffing her cheeks with the dessert, that was already half eaten. Her smiled faded a bit when he mentioned the plan b, nose wrinkling and head shaking. “I don’t want her man… I’ll be fine if she just stops being mean to me, so I can work in peace!”
