RPG Brainrot

Originally I thought of Lucanis faking his OWN death. This hinges on the Crows not being defanged the way they were in DAtV. Lucanis, seeing the atrocities being caused by mages abusing power in Tevinter, wants to leave the Crows and hunt them down instead (not for a price). But, knowing how ruthless the Crows are, especially in regards to losing the First Talon's favorite grandson, fakes his death to accomplish this.

I don't think this should change Lucanis getting sent to the Ossuary, that still works and connects him to the mages he was hunting.

I think this would've been REALLY interesting vis a vis Illario as well. He would've suddenly been the one up for inheriting the First Talon title, something he craved his whole life, but at the cost of losing his brother basically. This would've opened the door for so much guilty angst to permeate Illario as a character.

I especially want you to consider the mental anguish Illario would go through once it's discovered Lucanis is alive. He's angry and scared that he'll lose the First Talon inheritance. He's guilty and beating himself up for thinking of that while he should be celebrating Lucanis being alive. He's relieved and terrified to see Lucanis back and it's tearing him up.
