Wyatt listened to Keith. "Yeah, makes sense you'd have a truck for camping." He doubted any of these vehicles were driven for more than the amount of time it took them to get to this place to showcase them. He never understood the point but he could appreciate the beauty of them. "No, they don't." He agreed with what Keith said. "I'm sure it's nice to keep them upkept like this. To get all eyes on them, kind of thing." He imagined the owners of the vehicles felt an insane amount of pride over them. @keithxjohnson

"It's not a problem at all." He shook his head, waving off the concern with the tone of his voice. "I'm happy to help out." Wyatt knew what it was like to host and still have to clean up afterwards. "You doin' alright, otherwise?" He didn't want to press too much for Travis but at the same time, he had a feeling the man was struggling more than he was letting on. "You don't have to say if you don't want, just know that I'm here if you need to talk." @traviscowan

"Why won't my tie just do what I want it to?" Matt complained as he tried to fiddle with it one more time. His fingers were shaking with nerves as he kept struggling. He defintely wasn't nervous about marrying Logan. He was just nervous that something would happen. He'd mess it up, trip over his words, or anything would ruin the day. Or that he'd be there at the altar and Logan would never ome because she was kidnapped. That fear was something that plagued him for a long time and he always tried to get passed it, but it lingered and came out at the worst times. Like right now as he prepared to get married. As the tie, once again, didn't do what he wanted, he got mad and threw it down. "Okay, what if I go without a tie?" He turned to Wyatt. "Who needs one anyways?"

Wyatt looked up from the mirror he was using to adjust his own tie. His fingers gave it one last snug before turning to his brother. "Hey," he softened his expression as he stepped in front of Matt. "You should wear the tie." He held out his hand for Matt to hand it over. "I'll help you. Getting married brings out all the nerves you never thought existed." He'd been there, done that. He had loved Blair, once upon a time. Even if she turned out to be someone he hated after hurting his soon to be wife, Nel. Wyatt took the tie and began working on it for Matt, "It's okay to be nervous, just so you know." @mattswheeler

"Am surprised you asked," he spoke shaking his head as he walked out of the kitchen, chuckling getting one of the best bourbon and glass pouring some for the both of them. "One of the best I have been saving that I got on Baby Erik birthday. I even forgot my birthday so this is perfect too." @wyattxwheeler

Wyatt laughed with a shake of his head at Benjamin's words. There were many years of friendship between them, often too many to keep track of. The banter was not unusual. "Yeah, I bet you have." He joked, flashing his friend a grin, knowing that neither of them could be replaced in the other's life. "I'll be looking forward to you testing some of those recipes out here, too, right?" He teased, "Even if it's just for your best friend." Wyatt chuckled once more, "Hey, I don't want to make assumptions coming in here. Maybe you and your boyfriend drank it all." He teased with another grin resting against his lips. "You forgot your own birthday?" Wyatt shook his head at his friend, "How does that even happen?" @benjaminxjackson

Wyatt tipped his head slightly to the left as Sasha spoke, "Well, now there you go," he chuckled lightly. "I would have to say that the lack of dangerous hobbies and not burying someone, really make my job a little easier." He joked in return with her. "Wow," his brows lifted and his jaw fell slack with Sasha's admittance. "I'm sorry, I think I might be out to drinks with the wrong person right now." Wyatt lifted his arm, holding it out to her. "Pinch me, is this real or a dream that you're admitting to maybe finding something you like about Kismet Harbor that isn't giving me a hard time?" @sashaxjones

Having Nel tucked up against him was a feeling that he never wanted to take for granted. The sleepless nights without her had been a certain sort of hell, though it had been neither of their fault. He shifted, meeting her eyes with his own. "I love this life we have, too." Wyatt said back in agreement. There was no doubt about it that this was the woman he was supposed to be with. To raise a family with. "Did you see Matt and Logan's invitation on the counter?" He asked, "They decided to get married this year after all." @nelxruiz

"Yeah," he nodded his head, "I enjoy them." And while Mateo wasn't biologically his, he was still his son. He would treat him as such for the rest of their lives and had already been doing so. "Yeah," Wyatt let out a laugh, "that happens a lot if we've got kids in the station. I feel out of touch nowadays with all the shows they've been watching but, I'm getting there since Teo is getting older." And starting to be more interested in a variety of things. "They are cool looking. I think that's most of the appeal, right? I mean these people aren't really out driving these cars. They just want to show them off." @keithxjohnson

Wyatt found himself chuckling with Sasha's words. "Honestly, some days I might just agree with you." Though this wasn't his first rodeo, having helped raise Mateo Jr, he knew that he wasn't getting any younger. "Yeah, thanks," he smiled at Sasha, nodding his head. It was easier having Nel, a partner that he loved and trusted. One that loved and trusted him back. "I think with our line of work it can be pretty easy to fall into that trap." Admittedly, he'd been there a few times, more than a few times. "How're things with you?" @sashaxjones

Travis took a breath as he started cleaning up his place after the latest Parchment Ponderers meeting. He didn't mind hosting it at his place. Honestly, it was nice having people over. Though, it always brought up memories of hosting dinner parties with Darcy or birthdays for Finn. Bittersweet was the word he would describe it. As the guys started leaving, he turned and saw Wyatt. "Hey. You like the book?" He asked as he grabbed a few of the paper coffee cups to toss into the trash. "Don't think we really got to talk much about that today, did we?"

Wyatt had been part of Parchment Ponderers for some time, but he'd admit that he didn't always get to be the most active of members. Between everything that happened last year and then his daughter being born coming into the beginning of the year. Wyatt stuck around after, mingling and then began to help Travis clean up. "I did," he nodded his head in addition to answering the man's question. "It's been a while since I've been able to finish a book, admittedly, but it was a good one." @traviscowan

Wyatt nodded his head at her question to snuggle. "Baby, of course we can." He led her further out and moved to sit down. Patting the space next to him, he waited for Nel to join him before he wrapped his arm around her, pulling her into him. He turned slightly, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. "I will never take these moments for granted, Nel." He spoke softly after kissing the top of her head. He had almost lost her and he didn't want to miss another day with her. "I love you so much." Wyatt told her, though he knew that actions often spoke louder than words. Hence, the whole set up for the evening. @nelxruiz

"Good," he grinned back at Benjamin. Not that the man doubted his status in Ben's life, even with both of them in relationships. "Interesting," he answered, nodding his head along to the new information. "I honestly never would have guessed that." He told Ben, pausing for a beat. "Got any good bourbon around?" His brow raised in the other. "I feel like we enjoy something good, that we can sip on and enjoy while we catch up." @benjaminxjackson

"The right amount of stressful," he chuckled with a shake of his head, "I mean, it's all to be expected and I've worked at the station long enough to deal with the stress of things. Yeah, it's different raising human beings instead of chasing the bad guys down in terms of stress but maybe stress doesn't bother me the same as it used to." He shrugged his shoulders before nodding his head to Sasha's words. "Yeah, I am." Admittedly, he felt like they all were right now. And that was just the win they needed. "It's definitely needed. I didn't know if we'd get here again but I am sure glad we have." @sashaxjones

Wyatt smiled at Keith. While it was just him and Mateo out, he appreciated that Keith remembered his daughter as well. "Nel has Sera for the day. Girls' day or something like that." Though he was still sporting a smile. "I figured Mateo Sr likes cars, that I should show Mateo Jr around them, not that I know much about them." But, Wyatt could appreciate that they were neat looking at the end of the day. He just couldn't get underneath the hood of one and do much more than an oil change or change the tires out. @keithxjohnson
