honestly its not the fact that his teammate copy pasted Lando’s merch again and framed it as his own idea and what not (it does still bother me obviously), but the thing that i feel soooooooo disgusted about is the land*scars sweeping it under the rug like its no big deal, like 81 just didn’t plagiarised Lando’s merch (again) and are being like “omg landoscar’s sharing merch!!! its so cute 🥹” LIKE NO THE HELL IT ISN’T ITS PLAGIARISM AND IT’LL ALWAYS BE THAT despite all the excuses being made and the “oh but i didn’t know. i don’t see ANY similarities between the same merch collections between the drivers” being thrown around as well

Drivers who have spent years in midfield teams, working hard and giving it everything to score points or pull off impossible podiums, have all my admiration. That's why, when a driver who has had a good car from the very beginning, even if at times it hasn't been good enough to win, talks like that about backmarkers, it tells me much more about his personality and the way he thinks than anything else. I was genuinely neutral about Oscar until now, but that elitist way of talking about other teams, as if they don't have the right to fight for position just because they're not in top teams, has honestly disgusted me.
