Ionikinesis - Control Plasma

There isn’t a whole lot of uses for plasma aside from ball lightening or from stars so I decided to become a villain. 

I make a pretty penny off of doing lightening effects for concerts.

I play support for a hero team by blinding, freezing, burning, and stunning the enemies.

Inclinkinesis - manipulate body shape

I’ve been spending years as an animal but people caught me and put me in a zoo. I have to get out and I can’t exactly just leap the fence and streak through a public space.

I’m fed up with how people are. I’m turning into a monster and never looking back.

I’m part of a task force of shapeshifters that impersonate important people that have been killed. 

Infernokinesis - Control Hellfire

Even though it’s a form of necromancy, it really summons random ones. It doesn’t take requests.

It’s the same as just manipulating fire except sometimes demons come out.

If I really hate someone, I light their lawn on fire. It doesn’t spread but it also burns forever and neighbors tend to hate the blue flames.

Kheimokinesis - Control Winter

I put my entire team in hibernation because we weren’t needed. We just woke up and you’re telling me the world is ruled by my ex?

We’ve been so shit to the poles I’m gonna give them an extra couple miles of ice sheets to keep them lasting.

My town is known for its weekday winter storms. I just hate going to school when it’s close so I shut everyone in with a blizzard.

Kinetikinesis - Control Kinetic Energy

I can change one form of kinetic energy into any other. For instance, the speed that car goes is now equal to how hot it is.

With the help of my team I can make a Peasant Railgun. 

I can barely be harmed since I can take the shock of an impact and stop the energy from reverberating through me.

Koniokinesis - Control Dust

My friends think it’s the funniest thing ever to announce my arrival via sandstorm by playing Sandstorm.

Your worst choice was having me over to help clean out your place when you know I divine using dust. You have to leave town and wouldn’t you know it, you’re already packed.

Hagio-Ergokinesis - Control Divine Energy

I elevated my childhood dog to god status when he died. Now he keeps making things easier for me because he loves me so much.

I know I banished you a while back but you’re the only one who knew how to fight me right so... Wanna be un-banished?

Maybe the angels wouldn’t hate me that much if I didn’t ask them to do my chores when I summoned them.

Haemokinesis - Control Blood

Yeah my vein sculptures totally aren’t the crystallized blood of my enemies. That’d be too much.

The only reason I won’t register that I can manipulate blood is that I use it to cheat at sports. 

I would’ve hoped you wouldn’t see your blood clone. I was really hoping to keep them a secret as much as possible. 

Hakai-Ergokinesis - Control Destructive Energy

I’ve only got low-level chaos abilities. So your barista getting your name so wrong it became a curse word? That’s all me.

Remote detonation comes in handy. Especially with doomsday devices where a timer would be contrived.

Yeah I can summon demons but I’m basically their coworker so I can’t make them do a whole lot.

Halokinesis - Control Salt

Did you know you can pop your cells if they don’t have the right amount of salt? Just thought you should know.

Salt is actually very important in baked goods, even when only a little is needed. Good luck without it though.

You may have felt you were using your water supply faster than you thought- I’ve been salting the air around you to dry you out. 

Hallucikinesis - Control Illusions

You thought you beat me and led a normal life afterwards? I am your life.

I’ve been using an appearance illusion on myself ever since I figured out I was transgender. It’s been really helping.

The pettiest use I figured out if making people think there’s a spider in their room. No actual harm but it makes them worry over nothing.

Heliokinesis - Control Solar Energy

My underground compound gets solar energy so I can stay off the grid while devising schemes.

I’m constantly bested by my enemy with lunar energy because the moon’s just always out and about.

I’ve isolated myself because I radiate nuclear radiation and don’t know how to stop it.

Hyalokinesis - Control Glass

Yeah I’m the world famous glass blower but you can’t come to my studio... Okay, you can if you can keep a secret.

It seems kinda dumb but I can talk to my fiancee via the diamond ring I got her and I love it.

It took a lot of practice to find the frequency your secret identities’ glasses shattered at and to me, it’s my greatest power over you.

Hyetokinesis - Control Rain

I’ve been in a major depression and the rain I make when I’m sad isn’t exactly helping.

Next time I see you in the rain, one of those drops is gonna be dense as a bullet headed right for you.

I can ‘swim’ through the rain but lightening still poses a real and terrifying threat to me.

Hydrokinesis - Control Water

I teamed up with some marine biologists to make a perfect cylinder through the water for them to drive around through so they could observe the ocean firsthand in their mobile research bus.

My nemesis loves to surf so I asked my buddy who lives near the beach to give me an alert every time they go. No more waves that day for them.

It may seem like my secret facility has a leak problem, but if you step in that water, I know you’re there.

I am literally the only thing keeping Yellowstone from completely blowing it’s top at any given time and if you keep this up I’m just gonna let the next ice age happen.

Gerontokinesis - Control The Age of Living Organisms or Non-Living Objects

Sue me for being nostalgic, but when I heard my local zoo was considering putting down my favorite animal I made it a baby again.

I, an immortal, have had the same nemesis for centuries by continually making them a baby again once they became too old to fight me or didn’t want to anymore.

Everything I touch ages rapidly. The only things I can eat are things that can be fermented by a few years and not immediately fester. Wine and cheese it is.

Glucokinesis - Control Sugar

A curse on your foods, that sugar will never pass your lips.

I have diabetes so being able to know and balance out my blood sugar comes in handy quite often.

There’s a lot of reasons I don’t update this blog a lot- 

But you’ll find that I may have made something for tomorrow.

And possibly the next week and so on.

The go-to tense in most stories is past tense. So everything would just be more in the past. 

But if you decide to write your story in present or future tense, stuff can be mixed up royally. 

A tense-shift is what a lot of people call it. That’s what happens when your verbs don’t agree. Kind of like…

I walked to the store and bought milk. (Fully past)

vs

I walk to the store and bought milk. (Mix)

vs 

I walk to the store and buy milk. (Fully present)

You wanna make sure everything agrees! If it doesn’t, it can start to sound like there’s past events that you’ve got to keep track of that didn’t make the cut into the story. 

I’d say, do some editing if you need to. Read over it all and decide what tense to place it in and adjust accordingly. 

Ferrokinesis - Control Metal

The only reason my car’s still running in this wasteland is because if it breaks, I don’t have to go hunting down parts to fix it.

The only reason I’m able to 3-D print in metal without a smelter is because I can just make it go from solid to liquid and back in a second.

I may not be able to walk by myself, but this metal suit I made and can control allows me to live a normal life, as normal as wearing a suit of armor every day can be.

Ferrikinesis - Control Iron

“Your iron recreations of the blood vessels and organs is wonderful, yes, but how did you make it?”

It’s fun you brought guns. Shame you forgot I could take them apart.

But didn’t you take in your surroundings? This whole place is made of iron! Let’s see how well you fight against it.

Figurakinesis - Control Shape

No no no, haven’t you taken a studio art class? Shape is 2D! I can’t make something 3D.

It may not be impressive, but my papercraft/origami creations are really good.

I can just render your bullets useless by making them into the shape of cups. Cups don’t fly very fast.

Filukinesis - Control Thread

I can finally make the clothes I want. All I need is the right kind of thread.

There’s no way I’d be able to do my hair this fast without my powers.

I’ve had it with people. Break me out of this cocoon in a decade. 

Florakinesis - Control Flowers

No no no, I only deal in angiosperms. Can’t help you with the attacking fir tree.

My life out here in the woods is anything but dark and dreary. Every inch is packed with beautiful flowering plants.

Having cats has made having all these plants so much more fun. Plus, some of the plants retract into the dirt when the cat wants to play with them. Can’t have them eating lilies.

Flyrokinesis - Control Force Fields

I’m terrified of anything bad happening to my house, so I put a force field around it.

I’ve gotten pretty good with making quick force fields. Last week I dropped a sandwich and caught it before it hit the floor.

I made force field armor for you. No it doesn’t weigh anything, just put it on!

Fragokinesis - Control Explosions

One more crack like that and I’ll start exploding the bones in your feet one by one.

I think the only good, non-lethal use for my powers was attaching dye packs to all my stuff that I can explode into a bright indicator of who’s got my phone.

When I said I was going out with a bang, I meant it.

Frigokinesis - Control Snow

I keep all my enemies frozen and on display in my home as a testament to my triumph. 

My ice sculptures are the best in the world. I just won’t show you how I make them.

To get to me, you’ll have to trek through a mile of white-out conditions.

Fungokinesis - Control Fungi

Sometimes, all that’s needed to stop the heroes is athlete’s foot.

I make a killing off of my beer distillery.

Doing pretty good actually, making all the -kinesis prompts is pretty fun. 

Well, you actually picked the easier of the two to make not know. So I’ll just go ahead and do the other side as well.

Like maybe, if bad can’t see good:

Getting cable to see the ‘heroes’ in action would compromise their position.

Being in the same city, or even staying in the same city, after the break would cause them to butt heads too often and know too much about each other.

Every time the ‘good’ half of the team gets on the news it’s overshadowed by the reporters saying that the missing members would have done so much better/prevented more casualties/got rid of the problem for good and they can’t take the guilt.

Conversely, If good can’t see bad:

The fugitives have gone so far into underground crime that they have a network working for them.

They don’t want to know about their old teammates so they ignore all of their crimes out of a strange mix of mutual understanding and fear of the awkward confrontation.

The ‘bad’ have moved out of their jurisdiction and going out of their way to stop them may cause an international incident.

Edaphokinesis - Control Terrains

I mostly use it to make really good DND maps for my friends to play on.

Yeah I know that I’m getting into with this rocky as hell place. No, I know that building on it will be shit I know a guy okay? Stop asking questions.

I’ve been sent to Mars with only one purpose: To make it as Earth-like as possible. But no one said I couldn’t make it Jurassic Earth. Megaflora here I come.

Electrokinesis - Control Electricity

No fuck you, your heating’s broken now.

My wheelchair generates a lot of static electricity so I just get rid of it before I shock myself or someone else too badly.

I appear witha bolt of lightening and, no joke, it’s the best part of my power.

Elementumkinesis - Control Elemental Forces of the Universe

I mean it’s cool and all, but there’s tons of choices for what I could do in a given situation! Just charging in and accidentally making a rain cloud appear instead of flooding the place is a fear of mine.

With all these powers, I’ve basically become a god. At this point, should any rules really apply to me?

Yeah my gravity-free play center is a huge money-maker. Loads of people want to invest.

Electromagnetokinesis - Control Electromagnetism

Magnets, how do they work? Well, I sort of messed with their properties a lot. So they really don’t.

I decided to become a chaos god and just turn gravity on and off for people that have wronged me.

I know it doesn’t affect me but I gave a lot of earth-like planets a similar loadout to earth. That way it’s more likely we’ll go there!

Ergokinesis - Control Energy

Yeah I can make energy at will but it’s highly toxic to humans so I self-isolated for their protection. 

Sometimes I just like to make my lab partner screw up their titration experiments because I turn off the chemical energy in their solution.

Please, I’ve been able to manipulate volcanoes since I was 11, I think I can watch your dog.

Essokinesis - Control Reality

Just to see what it’d be like, I made a version of reality that has soulmate indicators. Holy hell it was a disaster.

You know what? Fuck it. This reality gets to have monsters and dragons.

You’ve irritated me long enough, I’m going to unmake you.

Etherkinesis - Control Aether

You don’t get it- I’m an actual wizard. I can’t wait to move to some small town and become a goddamn rumor.

Datakinesis - Control Data

Anything that gets recorded can be manipulated to fit. that’s how you learned that fudging the numbers for endangered species to be higher makes more exist.

Even data you make up makes things exist. 10 dragons that live in the park near your house? Yeah that just is how it is now.

I just keep erasing all information on me after every heist I pull. It’s so much easier when no one’s watching for you.

Dendrokinesis - Control Wood

The forest is my protector and if you somehow manage to get past the trees, you’ll have to face my house.

I made all of my furniture into pets. It’s kind of cute, seeing a coffee table try to gently bring me something.

For some reason I can only control fruiting angiosperms? So I just made an orchard that harvests itself. 

Depictukinesis - Control Art

What really is art? What scope does it have? And what can be manipulated on it? Well, the price menus at fast food shops are technically made with graphics...

I’ve learned that the local Superhero clan is getting pictures done for their government issued identifications. It just so happens I can steal powers through pictures.

Dermakinesis - Control and Generate Extra Skin

By moving the individual cells in my skin I can make this tattoo dance. It’s hilarious.

I’ve got a part time job with the local medical college letting them see my muscles move when I make my skin invisible.

People get so terrified when I slough off my skin. Sometimes it just gets too gross and I want to start fresh.

Dimensiokinesis - Control Dimensions

I’m just so overjoyed you are so easily persuaded. I even brought in a version of yourself that sided with me instead.

The greatest heist ever pulled: A teen accientally sending all of fort knox into a storage dimension with no knowledge until much later in life.

I really like this power. I can talk to monsters from beyond our dimension. They’re alright most of the time.

Dracokinesis - Control Draconic Energy

Yeah I can be a dragon, but it sticks for a day. It kind of sucks unless I have someone bringing me food.

Summoning dragons is the ultimate power move.

Carbokinesis - Control Carbon

As someone who happened to buy a lot of coal, I end up with a lot of diamonds.

You know those carbon filters in fish tanks? I never have to change mine now. I just sort of wave the guck out? It’s an easy chore.

Don’t forget, there’s carbon in steel. If I take it out, this whole city’s going down.

Cardiokinesis - Control Hearts

I don’t know why you think this has to do with love. Hearts are organs that only pump blood. I mean, I guess if your heart beats faster, you feel like you’re in love.

I spent years in medical school specializing in heart surgery just so I could discretely fix people’s hearts much faster than they should be able to. But whenever anyone asks me what my secret to fast and perfect surgery is, I have to lie and it’s eating me inside.

I can see everyone’s relationships, but sometimes it gets really distracting. All these fibrous lines keep obscuring the cinema screen.

Caelestikinesis - Control Celestial Bodies

Is it weird I can tell you’re an aries? I’m getting that you’re an aries. 

Okay, so making the night sky spell out “will you marry me?” was awesome but I think I ruined a bunch of aliens’ homes. I really hope they don’t know I did that.

Being a god of the stars is generally really boring. Nothing’s ever been happening. But this little planet seems to be starting something... Better get closer to watch.

Caelumkinesis - Control the Sky

I’ve tricked a constuction crew through a time-portal and now they’re building me a castle in 16th century France. I’ll be king and my castle will never fall.

Cibumkinesis - Control Food

You don’t even know how much pretentious people like to eat my ‘innovative’ foodstuffs. Milk jerky is as weird as it sounds and only comes in 2%

I’ll win every cooking competition, no matter how much I mess up.

I’ve gotten into the habit of driving by old neighborhoods and making all the copper wiring and pipes be sucked into my truck. It’s only slightly villainous. 

Cogitokinesis - Control Thought

I make quite the racket erasing unwanted thoughts. Where those thoughts go though is only for me to worry about. 

My robots seem too mechanical. I should steal someone’s thoughts to give them a bit of personality. 

Cognikinesis - Control Perspectives

Most of the time I just force video games to let me play first person, I’m not sure what you expected.Forcing people to look at what they’ve become is a lot like judgement day.

When people make me upset, I like to make them see my actual point of view.

Any battle goes may way, from a simple argument to an election. I’ve become the most influential person in the world.

My personal feelings are always above any actual evidence of winning, so seeing that I may be wrong is terrifying. What if I was wrong before?

Coronakinesis - Control Corona Energy

Yes, it’s basically like that one godzilla. No, I’m not secretly the kid of godzilla. 

You think you’ve seen global warming? You’ve seen nothing yet. 

Stars tend to move with their corona, so don’t mind the new stars. They were already there before.

Corrokinesis - Control the Power of Corruption

I really don’t like corruption, so I keep combing the internet for instances of corruption to take it out, hitman style.

I’ve condensed corruption into these special bullets. I want you to shoot all this list, no matter how nice you think they are.

Cryokinesis - Control Ice

If you keep annoying me all the liquid in your body is gonna freeze.

I’ve got the polar ice caps fixed, Antartica is looking good, and I’ve got enough snow cones today’s day at the park. 

You’ve gotta believe me, officer! The icicle just plain fell on them! It skewered them!

Crystallokinesis - Control Minerals and Crystals

My modern witchcraft store is stocked full with crystals and stones. And it’s all homemade.

If I really tried, I could get my crystal healing techniques to go towards a doctorate.

Cytokinesis - Control Cells of Organisms

My friend wanted to be a cryptid so we brainstormed for a while and they decided on their form. We still chat when I’m in town.

Even if I’m terminal, I can just fix it. I don’t see why I shouldn’t be allowed to fix you too.

Benzinakinesis - Control Gases

Literally, if you take one step closer I’m filling your side of the room with helium.

Sadly, your parents perished in a freak hot air balloon accident. I have no idea what happened.

Popping all those lightbulbs by expanding th egass in them looked pretty sweet but now there’s glass everywhere...

Bibliokinesis - Control Books

I don’t know how you somehow got into my mega-library, but you’re not getting any of these books back. They belong to me now.

You may have flight but I can sit on this Britannica and get where I’m going just fine.

There’s a reason why there’s a demand for movies to be made into books. You’re looking at them.

Biokinesis - Control Bodies

Nothing says professional cryptid like camouflage, mutations, and death on demand. 

It’s like playing an Operation game whenever I try to help somebody. There’s no buzzer though, just them screaming when I accidentally rip a tendon.

Sometimes, you just want to make your shitty neighbor into a rat. 

Bio-thermokinesis - Control Body temperature

I can’t exactly make a trip to Antarctica feel like summer vacation, but I can make it more tolerable. 

No thermal cameras can ever see me. But maybe I should knock out the regular cameras too...

Giving someone hyperthermia in a room of ice is torture enough. Have them drown themselves to quench their thirst? Dastardly.

Blennokinesis - Control Filth

Don’t think for one minute I wan’t bring back the black death. That’s how serious I’m being.

When I removed all the polution, I didn’t think people would be so eagar to make more.

This blu cheese is barely aged. Let me spread this mold a little more and it’ll be fit for the party.

Botanokinesis - Control plants

The grass are all individuals who get as much voice as trees do. I’m drowning in voices and opinions. I need to make them quiet. 

That’s it. I’m making it so any thrown away plant matter gets to people who need it. No more of this ‘not enough’ stuff.

My best friend might be a potted plant, but at least they aren’t judgemental like you are.

Brontekinesis - Control thunder

I’ll vibrate you so hard your organs burst and don’t even think for one second I’m bluffing.

No, I don’t have electricity powers. Isn’t the sound wave part cool enough for you? 

If you don’t know where to start and you’re already writing it, it sounds like one of those is only a half truth. 

I guess first things first, you don’t need any special prompts about them being lgbt+, most usual fantasy prompts will do. You just might need to flip around the wording a bit to make it fit. 

I would say though, if you’re heading towards ‘historical’ fantasy (where it’s further back in time and not something like ‘urban’ fantasy) don’t do a whole thing where the characters are persecuted for being lgbt+. Everyone I’ve ever hung out with and discussed their favorite stories with (in a group where everyone falls somewhere under lgbt+) can’t name one with no inherent violence towards the lgbt+ character. Even more so, one with a happy ending.

But I guess if you’re wondering about abilities or such, why not just crack open some dnd guides or head over to the superhero wiki and browse for a bit? 

Acidikinesis - Control Sloth

I have a personal vendetta against someone wildly more successful than me so I’m trying to make them lazy.

You don’t know how to relax so I’m literally filling you with laziness but you just won’t stop.

I work at an animal shelter and I sometimes make the animals fit what people are looking for by removing or adding laziness. You haven’t lived until you saw a cat with 0% laziness.

Aciukinesis - Control Sharpness

Did you know that most man made spheres are still more jagged than the earth itself? You haven’t experienced softness until you felt a perfectly smooth ball. There’s also not a lot of traction so please cup it in your hands.

I’m one of the only chefs here that doesn’t have some sort of hot or cold ability. But me being very clumsy, the ability to make all my knives dull saves my fingers a lot.

I keep making all the knives in the kitchen blunt so I can watch my parent-in-law get frustrated and lose their dominance over me.

Aerokinesis - Control Air

I can control the air but that doesn’t do a lot so I just got a few wind turbines for my property, so I get power for free. It’s a small win, but I like it. 

Sometimes I go to the beach and set up a kite rental booth while making it windy. It doesn’t make much but it helps with rent.

No one thinks that controlling air is that cool of a super power until I take it out of their lungs.

Aestatekinesis - Control Summer

I hate sweating so I made this summer really mild but it’s affecting my town’s farming economy.

I forgot that Alaska’s still supposed to be pretty cold in the summer and I may have made the ice caps melt a little more.

Aggressiokinesis - Control Anger

I work in tandem with a crisis clinic and so far, there isn’t a patient I can’t calm down.

My anti-aggression dog classes are the best in the business. I even stop by pet shelters.

I just love watching these people tear each other limb from limb with blind rage. I’m gonna be sad to see you go though.

Aidoskinesis - Control Humidity

One of the only things good about my powers is that I can make my boss’ office so humid they have horrible hair and sweat stains for their meeting with corporate. 

My greenhouse is always at the perfect humidity even in the dead of winter.

I’m gulty of making someone so humid they’ve taken off their shirt before. It’s a blessing.

Alcokinesis - Control Alcohol

You always get too out of hand with your drinking so I just take the alcohol content out of your drinks.

My coworker bugs the hell out of me and they’re going in for a company-wide drug test today. I made their breakfast have a healthy amount of alcohol.

It’s very fun to see someone pantamime being drunk when they think they are when in actuality I’ve taken all the alcohol out of their drink.

Amokinesis - Control Love and Desire

Shit are you actually in love with me or did I manipulate you into liking me?

As a joke I was going to make my classmate fall in love with whoever came in next but you did and now I’m very jealous.

I make people forget about me when we break up so it’s easy on them but I can’t get rid of my own love for them, even when there’s no chance of getting back together ever now. 

Anthracokinesis - Control Coal

I like being alone so I move to Centralia and just turn off the surrounding coals when I’m walking over them. It’s very quiet but very smoky. I need to leave town to buy a gas mask.

I bought a bit of land and made a little mine before buying a truckload of coal and just stiking it in the walls. Then, I compressed it all into diamonds.

So my parents gave me a little tough love as a child and gave me a piece of coal one christmas. I’ll admit, I was a naughty child. But that piece of coal made me learn of my powers. It’s the only piece I’ll never manipulate anymore.

Antikinesis - Control Antimatter

No you can’t come to my antimatter dimension. It’s very private.

I think we had a good run, I’m just gonna get a black hole in here real quick.

I always wanted to visit Chernobl, good thing I can just sort of turn off the gamma radation and go for a walk. 

Argentokinesis - Control Silver

Whoops I’m in werewolf country better make all my clothes and stuff have silver mesh.

“Yes this is genuine gold” I say to someone when I took the silver content out of a ring.

So I don’t have the best impulse control. I made my rude neighbor’s prized dog into a silver statue and now it’s like... eighty sets of flatwear.

Arthrokinesis - Control Joints

I may be a very inactive person, but damned if my joints ever pop. I’m doing sprints anytime I feel like it.

I got too excited testing how much I could let my joints move and may have dislocated by shoulder. 

Yes, I tried to suck my own dick. Yes, I should have realized that there is actually bone stopping me from bending my spine like that. Don’t laugh at me.

Asterokinesis - Control Cosmic Energy

I’ve ascended to be the god of the universe and all I want to do is to stop being in charge and just have some time off for once.

I saw how much earth was desperate to meet other beings so I made some closer planets support life. 

I’m not just some giant being in space. I’m a regular person. I buy groceries, collect rocks, and I’m desperate for people to never know I made them. 

Astrakinesis - Control Astral Energy

I am nearly constantly disassociating. The good news is that I have like thirty dream selves I can be while the others go on autopilot. 

I can see spirits so I just deal with ghosts for a living. Most of the time they’re just confused.

I can work as a medium for ghosts to talk through but you roleplaying with your dead datemate is the last straw.

Astronkinesis - Control Remnants of Cosmic Substances

I realized that in my lifetime I would never see a mission to a star so I made some much closer to us.

I don’t feel like this world’s really going anywhere. I’m just gonna supernova the sun next weekend. 

My tarot card readings are always perfect and I sincerely want you to leave the country.

Atmokinesis - Control Weather

I am the best weather forecaster the world has ever seen. I work for a small town in rural country though. I think I have five hundred viewers on a daily basis? 

I always make sure my neighbor’s/parent’s/friend’s/etc farm gets the best weather.

My entrences are always punctuated with lightening and I love it.

Atomkinesis - Control Atoms

It’s like 3-D printing, only much better. Check out this awesome watch I made.

Audiokinesis - Control Sound 

Nothing quite like a day of absolute silence when you have an audio processing disorder.

Movies are very fun to watch when I can make one character silent and just ad lib the dialogue.

The fact that I can chat style silence someone is the best.

Aurokinesis - Control Aura

I can see how people act before ever talking to them, that’s why you’re the only one in the room I’m going to talk to. 

Where I live, auras are very important. So I can easily hide among them as someone without giving an inkling of malice.

I personally hate you so now you get too radiate bad energy until you apologize. 

Aurokinesis - Control Gold

I’m allergic to what they use in fake gold but I have no money for good jewelry so I just make it gold after I buy it for cheap. 

It’s not quite the Midas touch, but I’ve pulled that prank before. 

I make golden jewelry and sculptures by making them out of clay/wood/etc and turning them into gold for huge profits.

Autumnuskinesis - Control Autumn

My hometown capitalizes on my love of pumpkins and sweater weather by becoming a destination for those looking to beat the heat but don’t want to own a down jacket. 

I can make things rot. So I rotted my neighbor’s garden a week before harvest. 

I make autumn immediately follow winter so now the world’s harvesting systems are fucked because I get pollen allergies. 

Avarikinesis - Control Greed

I’m trying to make the world fair by taking all the greed out of high-ranking officials but sometimes that was their only driving force and they have no actual job experience. 

I made someone comically greedy because being a superhero in a town in which no banks need protecting is boring.

I want so desperately to not have to take greed out of anymore people. It’s getting so tiring. I need to go on a vacation. 

Avikinesis - Control Avains

Having hawks fly to my aide when my boss was giving me shit in the parking lot was definitely a sweet move.

I may live in this cottage alone, but these birds are more than enough company. One of them just told me about someone who ate shit on pavement last week in a city ten miles away. It’s awesome.

In celebration of reaching 6000 followers, I am happy to announce the beginning of something inspired by one of the most loved lists I have made: 

The -Kinesis list 

A special project will be under way because it is easy to transcribe given the fact that I am usually short on time to contribute to the blog often.

Semi-regularly, there will be a list made up of every -kinesis on the superhero wikia that falls under a given letter. Most likely, they will go in order. 

there will be varying:

Alignments (Good, evil, etc)

Uses (Everyday, doomsday, helping, hurting, etc)

Reasons (Out of goodness of one’s heart, greed, hate, etc)

In the end, they will be compiled into a masterlist (Of links of course). 

All mythology is true yet false. if you look for it, it will never be true. That is why the gods of myth reveal themselves in back parking lots at 3am to tired students and children lost in clothing stores. They are not looking.

One mythological creature governs human invention so that it may one day be made. But its creators keep giving up on the project that will one day make them.

In the future when humans are all gone, the technology they have left behind elevate their creators to mythological status. Any remnant of human society is celebrated. 

It is not the mythological gods that are true and come to reclaim and govern earth, it is the elder gods. They do not understand why humans have such needs as ‘light’ or ‘tacos’. 

A time traveler travels back to see the worship of mythological gods but is instead mistaken for one with their powerful ‘chariot’.
