GUYS HELP ME SOMETHING REALLY FUCKING WEIRD HAPPENED I NEED AN EXPLAINATION THAT IS NOT ALIENS

ok so it happened in december of 2017, when i was still in high school. i was standing in the hallway and drawing, when a couple of guys noticed me and asked if they could see my other drawings, so i showed them my sketchbook. i had some landscapes, some plant studies, and some characters. they were impressed. then one of them asked if i could do a request, and i said sure! so he said he wanted a drawing of a steampunk anthro bear, i was like, sounds cringe but okay. he pulled up a picture, a headshot of a bear wearing a cloche hat and pearls. he told me that he wants something like that, but make that bear a man. we exchanged out contact information, and that was that. that's what i came up with:
