Everyone in my building is so incredibly unfriendly that there’s an unspoken rule that if someone else is using the elevator you just take the stairs even if it’s inconvenient and sometimes I say hello to people and they don’t even look at me or acknowledge me at all it’s so weird and I complain about it but just now I got in the elevator and a guest in the building just opens the door after me and gets in as well and presses his floor and I was so shocked I must have been looking at him like he was batshit insane for that. I’ve lived here for 1.5 years and I literally haven’t ever shared the elevator with someone who doesn’t live with me before. Like it simply isn’t done it’s against the rules. All that to say I suppose I am part of the problem because that’s crazy and I hate everyone in this building for infecting me
