Zelda is requested in The Legend of Zelda: Gears of Memory, an original Zelda story and Victorian-themed AU by pinktothepast. It is an AU open to roleplayers in the Zelda roleplaying community.

Gears of Memory tells the story of three heroes, bound by friendship and divine fate.

Link is a young clockmaker’s apprentice who comes into possession of a mysterious pocket watch- one that holds sealed memories of a fallen hero.

Zelda, Link’s childhood friend, is an independent artist who rejects her role as princess of Hyrule as she paints her dreamscapes of an unknown past.

Ganondorf, king of the Gerudo and history professor at Hyrule University, seeks to discover the truth of Hyrule’s story beneath its surface.

The three of them join together to search for the forgotten legends of Hyrule. But what they find threatens to undermine everything they thought they knew- about not only their world, but their very existence.

This blog will document information about this story and AU, including worldbuilding, lore, character details, and more. Roleplayers who participate can also be given access to the blog so that they may submit their own posts.
