Meet Schrödipurr, the Paradox Pokemon! 

A Ghost/Normal type, Schrödipurr possesses the unique Ability “Radioactive,” which causes the opponent to become Poisoned upon direct contact! 

Though the reason why this happened is currently unknown, Schrödipurr is the result of an experiment on a Meowth gone wrong, where it was trapped in a box with a radioactive liquid. Some theorize that those who did this were trying to create an entirely new Pokemon, though others believe it was simply human cruelty. 

At lv. 42, the box will be “lifted”, allowing Schrödipurr to evolve into Animeow, a Normal/Poison type, but if the trainer leaves an empty space in their party along with having an extra Pokeball in their bag, a Mortifur, a Ghost/Poison type, will appear as well! Though it’s currently unknown exactly how this happens, scientists theorize that the split evolution is somehow caused by the paradox known as Schrödinger‘s Meowth.
