Mountain dragons are the most common type of dragons currently living in Tamen. Along with being the most common, they are also the most ancient and can be found in the history books all the way back to the earliest records of Tamen.Â
Perhaps the most famous of all Mountain Dragons was the Great Dragon of Kalmin. His was the largest skeleton ever recorded and it is said that he lived for over a thousand years high up in the mountains above the city of Kalmin.
How to Adopt a Dragon
If you are interested in adopting one of these amazing creatures and giving it a home on your tumblr or website, please do the following:
Use your mouse to right click on the egg you would like to adopt and click Save Image As... DO NOT HOT LINK TO THE IMAGES ON THIS SITE. I cannot stress this enough.
Once you have saved your little egg to your computer, feel free to upload it to your website or tumblr.Â
There is a set schedule for how long it takes for the eggs to hatch, grow and mature. I post updates on the main page and tag them with #adoptables.
For each stage, you must follow the first step by right clicking on the dragon's image and clicking Save Image As... You will know it's you dragon because the order of the eggs and the subsequent dragons will remain the same and the colours will also remain consistent between the egg you pick and the dragon's images at it matures.

I missed my dragon's 2nd stage and it's already onto the 3rd stage? What do I do?
Don't stress! I never delete any of the previous images so you will be able to go back by searching my blog with the tag #adoptables and find your dragon.
Can I edit your dragon images?
Absolutely not. I hate to be a stickler about this, but I worked hard on these little dragons and I would be crushed to see someone using them to make their own or making their own adoptables out of them. I may make a template one day for people to use for their own creations, but in the meantime, I really have to ask that my dragons remain intact and unaltered.
Do you ever reuse existing dragons?
No. I don't even save the .psd files. Every dragon, once created, has a unique colouring that will not be repeated. There may be similarities and some may even appear very similar, but just like people, there will never be two that look exactly the same in colouring.
