Spontaneously spent a good portion of both my recent camping trips learning more about the salmon; first, by joining my friend’s salmon fishing trip, and then this time I ended up at the Sawtooth hatchery.

I get to help with rainbow trout spawning this season!!!!! Aaahhh!!!!! I'm so excited to work with this team and learn from them. It's exciting to step away from warm water species and the aquaculture space into something more aligned with what I see myself doing in the long run.
