I met Oleg the cat a couple of weeks ago. He belongs to a friend of a friend, who recently adopted him after her own beloved cat passed away. Oleg spent a lot of time chasing a brightly coloured bug around the floor, which gave me the idea for this print.

History tells that the once-great town of Dunwich now lies submerged beneath the foaming waters of the very sea that stretches out before you. In a quiet moment, when the gulls fall silent and the wild waves retreat to prepare their next assault, you may just hear the ghostly bells of the town’s churches, tolling their mournful knell from beneath the swell, their dull chimes drifting upon the sea breeze. You may even spy the nebulous wraiths of long-dead citizens, whose restless spirits are said to walk the cliff-tops when darkness falls. And you will feel in that moment of peaceful solitude that you have truly walked with ghosts on Dunwich shore.
