With that, Eungyeol gave the other a quick bow before following the other man’s lead, beginning to walk in the direction of home. (He hoped, at least.) Perhaps in the back of his mind he should’ve been concerned for his safety, being in a new place and all, but nothing about this stranger seemed to set off any alarms in his head. ❝ Mannaseo pangkapsemnida! My name is Cha Eun Gyeol! ❞ he replied brightly, flashing a smile that alone could plausibly chase away the rain. ❝ Um… I had to stop by that store to get a dictionary, and didn’t think to grab an umbrella. ❞
"Oh, I see. Well my name is Arthur, its a pleasure to meet you." Arthur raised an eyebrow. It must not have been raining when Cha....Eun...Geeoul? What?? Crap did he have an English name? Or could he at least repeat it slowly for him? Well, anyway, it must have just been still dry when he exited the store for him to have just forgotten to get an umbrella.
"Where are you from?" He asked, trying to think of a language that fit what his new companion had used. It was obviously from Asia, but there were so many languages form that continent that Arthur couldn't narrow it down well enough.

Iron Bull stilled, the line of his shoulders coiling slightly as he half turned to meet the source of the inquiry, as if expecting an attack. But it was only a young man, with ginger hair that the Qunari remembered as distinctive amongst dark-headed orlesians. Arthur, the Bull thought, one of few who brought children to Skyhold.
Twitching his eyebrow upward, Iron Bull set his quill aside and rose slowly. “The topography was the work of Qunari cartographers, but the cities… And the notes… Are mine, yes.”
The aforementioned notes were crowded abbreviations lining the outskirts of each indicated city. To an untrained eye, they appeared as gibberish.
Bracing the heel on his ink stained palm on the tables edge, Bull considered Arthur. He commented finally, tone mild and curious, “—you’re out late. And away for the imekari in your care. Everything ok?”
The Qunari stood and Arthur was again struck by how very...big The Iron Bull was. Arthur, at even his impressive six feet three inches, still had to look up to see the Bull's face. "Its very detailed. I'm impressed." Arthur said. Even if he didn't have any idea what it meant.
"Imekari?" Arthur repeated the Qunlat word carefully with a furrowed brow. "Oh! You mean Elizabeth!" He was surprised that the Bull had even noticed him and his daughter, he knew the inquisitor for Maker's sake, obviously he had much more important things to do. "Ah, yes." He put his hand into his soft black curls, fingers making it stand on end and poof up. "I just couldn't sleep well, so I came here to read." He patted his satchel.
"I didn't know anyone would be here but I should...have probably figured someone would be about."
“Tch, that’s boring anymore. Just enough to be labelled illegal, but it’s not like anyone gives a shit. It’s like smoking pot in Seattle when you’re 20. We could go cat-hunting. Let’s do that.”
Arthur laughed at that, shaking his head. "And you've done nearly everything under the sun, so everything is boring to you darling." He reminded the white haired man. "Are you sure you want to hunt for cats? Won't Theodore get mad if you bring home strays?"

Jami giggled. “Duly noted. Just, ah, let me know when the darling girl will be there and I’ll make sure I don’t match it up with the weekends I go out browsing the goods at the bars. Especially when I’m aiming to bring them home with me.” Maybe someday, once they were better acquainted and she could guess how he might react, she’d have to try flirting a bit; he would certainly be something different in bed.
"Would you like to see some others?" Already Jamie was headed for the boxes, peeking under the lids and setting them out across the floor. "Give me your favorite book, and I’ll find the closest thing I have."
Arthur smiled at that. "Well that's not exactly what I meant. I was going to recommend earplugs as the people sharing our back wall aren't exactly...subtle in their affections for each other." He wondered if maybe perhaps they would be making that sort of noise later on in their relationship, but then remembered he hadn't been with anyone in two years and was probably not going to be anytime soon, so quickly dismissed the idea.
"Oh yes! I would!" He said eagerly, slipping down to kneel on the floor next to the boxes with her. "Hmm, my all time favorite book is The Book Thief. But that isn't actually a very old book now lets see..." He hummed to himself. "I rather like the Hobbit."
The Bookshop
Happily, she took the book and flipped through the book. Holly felt a little tickle in her nose, covering her nose with her arm, she let out a soft sneeze. Suddenly snowflakes fell around her. “Sorry” Holly blushed
Oh. OH. Well that explains why she needed a book on magic. She was magical. "Ah, well, its perfectly alright." Arthur murmured, brushing a bit of snow off of his shoulder. "You are a witch?" he asked her, tilting his head at the young woman.
The Bookshop
"Oh my, how do you keep this crowd under control?" The redhead said with a chuckle. "Well then if I can just hold on to it that would be swell."
She was still looking around the store with a smile on her face as he spoke to her, it was something that couldn’t be helped-turning her loose in a bookstore was akin to a hungry bear in a fish market.
"I guess I need to pay more attention then. I do come this every now and then. I’ll have to come by more often now that I know this is here." Raising her eyebrows, she added jokingly, "Unless of course it’s like Mr. Elive’s Magic Shop. You know, always disappearing and reappearing."
"Favorites? Hmmmm… got an hour?" Her wide green eyes sparkled with excitement. "The bookstore near my apartment burned to the ground and they never reopened. It was a sad day for me. I have to say I’m pretty much in withdrawal."
Samantha had to pause just then to remember what question she was answering. “But… oh yes, favorites… I vacillate between depressing dystopian fiction and fantasy with a sense of humor. Got any recommendations?”
"It only disappears if your mind is too busy for your eyes to notice it." He smiled at her. Finding fellow bird lovers was one of his favorite things in the world. "An hour? Goodness, even I don't have that many!" He laughed.
It was tragic to hear of the other bookshop, books being burned was one of the saddest and most tragic events in the world, saving genocide and things like that. He frowned a little in thought. "Ah, well, one of my favorite series is the Belgaraid, by David Eddings. It has a very dry sense of humor but is very much a magical adventure."
Arthur came around the counter to be a little closer to her and the books. "And then if you have not read The Giver quartet I reccomend it highly. I know a lot of people have read the first one for school or because of the movie but there are three others and they are simply marvelous."

Marrow had come to the park at dawn. She came here often to listen to the children play and the birds singing. There were never any children or birds in Faerie, and it was a nice change. The fairy settled at the foot of a tree (which had never attempted to eat her) and rested, waiting for the day to begin. Sometimes, children would come close, but the bushes between her and most of the foot traffic usually left enough doubt in the minds of humans to let them write her off as just another plant.
Of course, she really wasn’t, and eventually grew hungry. She waited until it seemed like the place was empty and stood, moving through the bushes to hunt for food.
Lizzie had spotted her and plopped herself down on a bench across the path. When her father approached her, she shushed him, pointing at the fairy she could see very clearly. It took Arthur more time to see her there, but after a while she appeared before his eyes.
Arthur sat down too and waited.
When Marrow began to walk away Lizzie piped up. "You're green. You shouldn't be green."
