The limbs probably won't line up when you've finished. That's fine. Just tighten or loosen the spiral until they do.

Working on a dragon pattern based on those worry worm fidget thingies. I guess you'd call it a worry wyrm?

Yeah, i'm doing xmas stuff. I was not expecting to be well enough to enjoy christmas this year, but by some miracle my cancer is still stable at the moment so fingers crossed it stays that way until my next scan in the new year. Yay (hopefully) chemo free christmas!

I did try to give it a cute star-shaped tail fin at first, but it looked... well, more like a certain type of leaf honestly and I'm not going for THAT kind of Puff the magic dragon <.<

Still in the mood for making Tiny things, so here's a little goldfish. This was a bit of a challenging pattern to work out as it's all one piece, no separate bits or sewing at all.

Tiny bird! A very much smaller and simplified version of a robin pattern I made a while ago. This one is no-sew and made of 3 pieces. I wanted something quick and simple to use up wool scraps.

Prototype cat pattern! Cat heads are surprisingly difficult to get right, if you don't define the shape enough you have a generic teddy, if you define it too much you get a bulldog lol. My previous cat pattern was edging towards the latter and had a lot of thread sculpting. Honestly they looked... a little off. This one is more of a simple variation on the bear with less faff. The tail and ears are doing a lot of work here but hopefully it's enough to say 'cat'...

(does that make me a yarn snob? Oh dear..)

Now to decide whether to break out the Nice Wool and make a fancy bear, or work out a pattern for a different animal. Although I'm full of cold right now so figuring out stitch counts might be too much for my snotty brain...
