Details:

They would’ve likely grown up together and were maybe even friends but things changed in their late teens and they dated. Bear wasn’t exactly stable for a real relationship as he battled with some demons, being a bit unruly, and some addictions. Their relationship would’ve been up and down, full of hardships and drama, and he was kind of dragging her down with him. Finally around the time Bear was 20/21 she broke things off with him for good. No more of the off/on, she was done. The breakup was half the catalyst for Bear to clean himself up and he’ll always credit her for that. However she went on with her life from then to now, I would love to see how they connect to each other now that they’re grown up. Is there any fire still there or do they make peace with the past? I can’t wait to develop this!

Details:

There's a long history between these two. Initially they met when Kira was 17 and had made her first appearance on the US Women's Nation Team. At the time she wasn't entirely aware of her sexuality, other than finding women attractive, and had never really explored anything beyond that. So they started off as friends and spent a lot of time together both soccer related and outside of it. This connection in the early stages grew slowly over the next 4 years and when Kira was 21 and they were together for another Olympics their friendship took a romantic turn. They'd kissed and hooked up. Kira was more aware of her sexuality by that point but she was not out and they kind of dated and hooked up over the following 2 years before they made their relationship public and Kira came out. In the process her family cut ties and contact with her but Kira considered the love she had worth it at the time. Their relationship spanned the next 4 years and the fans absolutely loved and adored them together. In the professional league each woman played for a different team so their relationship was long distance during the season. Well, while out one night with her teammates/friends Kira's girlfriend was caught on video kissing another woman. It spread like wildfire over social media and Kira woke up the next morning to the most devastating notifications. They broke up. Now, 2 years later, they're being forced to play on the same team together. There's so much angst with this connection and I have so many musings and thoughts about it!

Details:

About 4-5 years ago Genesis got in trouble on a drug charge and was given an ultimatum. She could either do some jail time or she could do a little favor for the DEA. Not known for great decision making she decided to take the deal and it entailed her getting close to a drug dealer under a false identity. Gen spent about a year with this guy getting close to him and falling in love in the process. Rather than report back to the DEA giving away his secrets she lied and ran away from the whole thing before she could get in trouble with it all. Back in Woodside and carrying on with her life I'd love for her to run into him again and be forced to come clean. He's genuinely the only person she's ever fallen in love with but he doesn't even know her real name. Lots of drama and angst!

Details:

The main detail is they started dating a little more than a year ago fairly soon after her very public breakup with her ex-girlfriend. It was a move that surprised everyone given how quick she jumped into a relationship following her breakup and also because she jumped into a relationship with a man after coming out when entering a relationship with her ex-girlfriend. She's currently contemplating breaking up with him or if she should open herself up to the potential here. Beyond the main point I see them as having been friends and maybe he always had a crush or feelings for her so he was absolutely happy and excited when Kira seemed interested and happy going into a relationship with him. They could've grown up together, known each other as teens in Woodside, and that be how they knew each other and had been in each other's lives prior to becoming a couple. I do see him as being a bit oblivious to her lack of intimacy with him. Kira does care about him and does feel bad about stringing him along, using him, but post breakup she was fearful of being alone and felt incredibly embarrassed about being publicly cheated on. She also thought being in a relationship with a man would get her back in her parents good graces. So while she initially was using him I do see how feelings could grow but definitely want to see how this develops rather than assume one way or another.

Details:

They grew up in poverty on the poor side of the city. Their parents were the product of young love that never really amounted to much of anything. Right after high school Bear's older brother was born and then some 5 years later Bear came along. After Bear there was an accidental pregnancy that brought along their younger sister. About 2 years after their sister's birth their mother up and left. Their father worked multiple jobs just to keep a roof over their heads and put food on the table so he was never really around. That meant it was up to the children to take care of themselves. Bear was a wild one. Got into a lot of trouble and often and eventually fell in with the wrong crowd. The siblings had no real formal upbringing and were dysfunctional, at best, as a family. When the older brother turned 18 he left the home and the responsibility of trying to look after their younger siblings and the relationship with Bear has been estranged. Bear tried his best with looking after his younger sister but he was in the midst of a delinquent youth. Around 20/21 Bear finally straightened out his life and began working hard to make something of it. This connection is about siblings trying to come together and feel like family again.
