A fluff scenario where you had a fight with your best friend and it took a toll on you. So, you call Wonwoo and he comes and comforts you. š Hope you enjoy!
You hugged your knees to your chest, trying every possible position where you would feel comfortable but nothing eased your pain. You were hurt by what she said, but also disgusted by what monstrous things you said to her in return. She didnāt deserve to hear such words, but neither did you, so all you could do was cry in your confused state.
You didnāt want to be alone as it felt like you were unable to think straight. You wanted someone here to comfort you, so you picked up your phone and called Wonwoo.
He came to your apartment as soon as possible, thinking you were hurt because you were crying nonstop and he couldnāt properly make out what you were saying. Only āplease come hereā and āI need youā. Ā
He rushed to sit by your side on the floor where he saw you with your face buried in your arms. He gently wrapped his arms around you and swallowed loudly, clearly a little taken aback by your state. He didnāt ask you anything, obviously not wanting to rush you. He just sat there silently, fingers rubbing slow circles on your side.
As tears kept falling from your eyes and quiet sobs escaped your lips, you slowly melted into his arms and sobs escaped, you melted into his arms. After a few minutes of no talking, and you now crying on his shoulder, you tighten your grip around his waist. He felt so warm and good to hold, you almost didnāt want to let go. But you knew you had to talk, it wasnāt fair to just call him and not tell him what was going on.
Your voice broke a few times when you told him what had happened, tears still rolling down your cheeks. Wonwoo paid close attention to every word you said and when you paused to sniffle, he would wipe away your tears with the sleeve of his sweater.
He patiently waited until you were done before he spoke, āif she didnāt realise that you were just trying to help her, she is not your best friend.ā The harsh words that came out of Wonwooās mouth made you feel your tears building up again.
āBut how could she possibly -āāØ
āPlease listen to what I have to say first,ā he interrupted you, a gentle smile on his face. You went quiet and nodded slightly to give him the permission to carry on.
āIf she realized your intentions and why you were angry at her, she will know you were just doing it out of love. I bet sheāll contact you soon.ā
You let out a sigh, your lips turning into a pout. āI guess so,ā you mumbled, understanding Wonwooās point.
You thought about your friend, and all the other times you had found yourself disagreeing with her and time had always solved your problems. You both just needed time to comprehend everything and calm down, and usually, apologising hadnāt been too hard for neither of you.
āHow do you always know what to say?ā
You nuzzled your head into the crook of Wonwooās neck, not knowing what else to say. He laughed heartily and lowered his head to leave a small peck on your shoulder, sending a wave of warmth through your body.
āWant to play some video games?ā
You playfully smacked Wonwoos arm after his suggestion. āHow is that supposed to help me feel better?ā you asked, almost laughing. āHey, I play video games if Iām feeling down and it does help,ā he explained, acting shocked that you hit him.
After he stared at you with almost pleading eyes, holding your hands, you complied with his suggestion. He then happily turned on your tv and the game console he had bought you before.
When he sat back next to you, handing you a controller, you smiled and thanked him. He somehow always managed to show you the brighter side of things, and you couldnāt be more thankful for that. You loved him to pieces.
