HU is 2022

This picture was a very pleasant and BIG surprise for me on 18/12/21. My father has departed to another dimension with his “Lang Carcinoma” nearly one year ago. This picture kinda captures his essence before the cancer hit him. Days after his funeral, I remembered that I had taken a photo of him before I leaving Malaysia at the 1 Utama Bus Terminal, unfortunately that roll is accidentally exposed due to my own stupidity. I was fed up with myself for not being able to keep him around after his departure, even it was just a photo. A tinge of regret started to grow within me. It was all gone until today, when this picture popped up after I developed another forgotten film roll that given to me by one of my closest friends. Although I totally have no idea when and where did I take this photo of him. Call me a romantic, but I happen to believe that this photo is a cross-dimensional-travelled gift from my father, that telling me he’s enjoying himself in another dimension now. Thank you, papa.
