From @sheislight ・・・ I know what it feels like to step out in faith believing for God’s provision to only turn to God and ask “Where are you?” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Philippians 4:19 reminds us: “God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But here’s the thing - his provision doesn’t always look the way we want it to. We have big, lofty ideas and we can even bargain with God and tell him the way it has to be. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But God knows best. ❤️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ God hasn’t gone anywhere. He is with you. His ways are just HIGHER than yours. When the disciples saw Him walking on the water, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost!” they said, and cried out in fear.… Matthew 14:26 Remember when JESUS was walking on the water towards the disciples they did not recognize Him. This is because God is hard to recognize in the storm. But Jesus knowing their predicament walked towards them. He knew how fearful they were. He was their very present help in time of their trouble. Maybe, you feel He’s abandoned you in the high seas.  God has not left you, He’s so close to you, though you are unable to see or feel Him, He’s there. He will strengthen and help you. If He’s calling you to step out of the boat, do it boldly. Keep your eyes on Him. No storm can drown you when He’s near.
