Why I like them

She’s SUCH a sweetheart! She’s so bubbly and kind and I love that her reason for wanting to be a hero is giving her parents an easy life! I also love that she recognizes that while she may want to be more of a rescue hero, it’s great to be trained in all sorts of things and she chose an internship initially that would help her with combat. She works so hard to be strong and tough, it’s great!

Why I don’t

Not her doing, but basically I just don’t like what the story has done with her? She’s kind of been reduced almost solely to Izuku’s love interest, and I think she deserves more than that! I thought their interactions too were much sweeter early on then later when the push the “ooooh she’s crushing and in LOVE” so hard. I want her to be a person of her own outside of Izuku like she was in the first couple seasons, learning and taking inspiration from him naturally, but there being more going on than that. She’s been pushed to the sidelines a lot!

Favorite episode (scene if movie)

The episode where she fought Bakugou for sure! This made me love her so much. It let her show off her own capabilities and strengths so well! We got to see her fully fighting for her dream and being a badass! Plus, it’s just... SO emotional when she falls and when she talks to her parents, it really gets me every time I watch it.

Favorite season/movie

Season 1/2, I feel this is when we saw the most of her and she most got to shine as her own character.

I can’t think of one that stands out in my head right now!

The one she wore during the training camp in the woods was cute!

OTP

Don’t really have an otp for her per se. If I had to pair her with someone, I think I’d pick Tsu! And like I said her and Deku were cute at first, just not something I really ship now. I kinda like the idea of her and Iida too?

Ochako and Bakugou! And I kinda love the idea of Ochako and Deku just as a brotp??

Head Canon

Floaty girl loves the space aesthetic. Would buy a bunch of space themed hoodies and leggings if she had the money to throw out on that. 

Unpopular opinion

I guess probably just that I think she’s best off not ending up with Deku!

A wish

Let her do more as her own character! Let her have fights and developments and friendships where Deku isn’t referenced all the time!

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen

I’d prefer if she didn’t die and wasn’t reduced to purely love interest anymore.
