“How is your magic training going? Anything you can use already?”, Benicio asked. Celia shrugged:

“I broke a glass today.”

“Seriously? That was vintage.”

“As what?”, Celia tried to think of something. The wind in the room slowly died down. Was she manifesting anything at all right now? Then, she felt a comfortable warmth in her palm.<br>

“Who would have thought…”, Magnus scoffed, “Celia Velázquez summons fire.”

“You tortured him.”, Celia snarled, “I wonder what the Clave would say about this if they would find out.”

Aldertree´s eyes widened:

“It´s your word against mine -”

“And I am sure that I can be very convincing.”

Adriana scoffed: “Oh please… I figured it out a while ago. Of course it was the SRU. And I think I know who precisely: your golden girl over here.”

“Urgh, what are you doing here?"

Celia recognized the voice even before she stood up and turned her head:

“Saving your ass, Adriana.”, she whispered.

“Where am I?”, Salomé asked, breathing heavily.

“What the fuck are you doing here?!”, another voice could be heard through the earpiece. Salomé gasped, a sword was drawn and someone screamed.

Celia grimaced slightly at the title:

“Please, Señorita will do for the honorifics.”, Silas looked ashamed of his mistake, but Celia decided to simply move on, “to what do I owe this meeting?”

“Her name is Madzie…”, Iris said, “And she is better off with me, rather than fending for herself in this cruel world.”

Iris looked at Celia when she spoke the last words.

Raphael sighed and nodded. That was enough for Celia: “Anyone up for drinks?”

“Who did you try to kill?”

“I didn't just try.”

“Who, Alec?!”

“Don't you dare to say my brother's name out loud again after you murdered him! You…”

“Then -”, Benicio started, but Celia had had the same thought as him:

“ - who did I fight against in the duel?!”

“That´s what we need to find out.”, Rubi spoke up.

Celia raised an eyebrow:

“Aside from Diego. And the guy you just made jobless.”

“For your nerves.”, Benicio said, “try to see Adriana as a normal opponent. Everything will be fine."

Celia rolled her eyes:

“I'm seriously going to break out in hives next time someone says this!”
