With a slight hesitancy in working with colour, Chrysa Koukoura uses fine pen on paper with meticulous detail, her aim being to draw the viewer in for a closer look. She loves the simplicity and the restrictiveness of working in black and white, as it requires her to bring something extra out of an image that wouldn’t usually be there had a colour been involved. Koukoura has been drawn into nature as a starting point for her drawings. Having just left London, her home for the past seven years, she is looking forward to seeing how her ever changing surroundings over the next year will influence her work. NativeKid - “Feelings"

Native Kid does it again. Bringing subtlety, beauty and seduction in a tribal drum lead track accompanied by female vocals that make you instantly shiver. The drums take over your own heartbeat and you get goosebumps and you daze off into another, peaceful world.
