At the start of the year, I made a conscious decision to shift into art that I felt more comfortable and confident making, but that also meant a substantial loss in subscribers. I've taken a step back from doing weekly nsfw posts, and instead, my patreon has become a place for me to share all my new pieces (as well as the occasional erotic art 😏) and I've really begun to feel like I'm creating a community of people who inspire and motivate me to continue sharing my unique stories <3

3. If somebody told the character that they admire them what would they feel and how would they react to it

Quinn--he'd feel a bit shy tbh 🥺 He never believes that he's worthy of any praise, so even someone hitting on him usually takes him aback. But to know someone admires him would make him feel really self-conscious and awkward :')

Vincent--I think he'd be reasonably flattered, while also wondering what it is in particular that's admirable. Not that he doesn't think he deserves to be held in high esteem, but he'd focus on how he's coming across, and wonder if he's making the best impression he can make. But he'll always smile if you tell him you like him :)))

4. How much weight do they give to others' opinions of them

Quinn--it's not something he really dwells on. Considering he already thinks so lowly of himself, another's opinion wouldn't really land in the same way. He does try to go under the radar and not cause any issues that would result in someone thinking poorly of him. But if he hears gossip about himself, it doesn't hold much weight. And if someone is openly critical, he'll probably just agree :/

Vincent--he cares, a bit too much. It's one of his less desirable traits, but he does put a lot of stock in how he's perceived by others. Knowing he's held in high regard by someone means he's more comfortable and open with that person. Being around someone who openly dislikes him is a bloodbath waiting to happen lol. Especially considering there are those who disagree with the existence of vampires, Vincent tends to take that personally, and will hold a grudge if someone has expressed a negative opinion of him

10. Their most defining moment vs your favorite one of them

I suppose we're treading into unwritten novel territory here, but I'll use the backstory stuff, as well as some of my..plans....heheh

Quinn's 'defining moment' is probably the incident with his mother that changed his life for the worse 🙃 He hates that this is such a critical point in his childhood and adult life, but alas..it left its mark. As for my (future) favorite Quinn moment, I've had this scene of him still half-delirious with fever coming on to Vincent and offering his blood while also dry-humping him and panting like a dog in heat for aaaages :)

Vincent's defining moment is probably his transformation. I actually really enjoyed getting into the gritty details for the character bios, and it felt like such a culminating moment. My favorite (future) Vincent moment is him showing up at Quinn's door to 'discuss' their upcoming operation and choosing instead to fuck all his doubts and make out sloppy style 🥰

50. If faced with a magical mirror revealing their deepest fear and greatest desire instead of their reflection, what would they see and would they be surprised by it

Quinn's greatest fear would materialize as a paralyzed version of himself, watching helplessly as everyone he's ever cared about suffers while he can do nothing to save them 🙃 His greatest desire would be a version of himself that has accepted love and no longer feels the weight of the world on his shoulders; he'd be tucked easily against Vincent's side, a rare smile on his face, being peppered with kisses, and real Quinn would barely even recognize himself 🥲

Vincent would see himself entirely alone and void of feeling after witnessing all of his loved ones age and die without him 💔 His greatest desire would show himself arm-in-arm with Quinn, wedding rings on their fingers, maybe a kid or two, both with an ample amount of gray in their temples and wrinkles around their eyes 🥺

2. When someone says "this is [character name] coded," what comes to your mind

Quinn-coded: suicidal pretty white boy covered in Wounds

Vincent-coded: ultra suave luddite grandpa

Sheila-coded: feral orange lesbian

Nips-coded: twat extraordinaire, everyone's favorite waste of space <3

Hameed-coded: papa bear, sweet hairy man <333

Liz-coded: big boss lady, ponytail operator

Birdie-coded: the most gender wizard you ever met

11. One word they'd use to describe themselves, one you'd use to describe them and lastly a word that their closest/loved one would use to describe them

Quinn: functional--pathetic (pos)--tragic

Vincent: enduring--sweetheart--old-fashioned

Sheila: pissed--scrappy--grumpy

Nips: fit--pathetic (neg)--pesky

Hameed: tall--huggable--kind

Liz: hardass--crafty--determined

15. Do they have a stomach for violence and harm and if so do they only do it out of necessity or at any whim

Quinn--honestly, he struggles with being the perpetrator of violence, while conversely, he lends himself to the role of victim almost willingly :/// I'm sure this says nothing about his trauma hahaha 😀 Out of necessity, he's prepared to defend and retaliate accordingly. But he never relishes the act of violence itself, and prefers to resort to other measures to avoid it.

Vincent has a fair amount of bloodlust, due to his vampiric condition. This means that once he's been triggered and switches into that near-feral state, the concept of violence becomes more natural, and he'll go all out. In his true state, Vincent disagrees with most forms of violence. But he's come to realize that sometimes it is necessary, if only as a measure against enemies that have no issue carrying out bloodshed rather than negotiate.

16. Do they idolize anyone, if so why is that

I don't think Quinn has anyone he idolizes tbh. He doesn't see individuals as conduits for something more important; they're just people to him. The idea of elevating someone to a god-like level of status is..uh.. yeah. not really something he wants to acknowledge after the whole cult thing from his childhood ://

Vincent has had a few people he's admired in his life, but never really idolized. I'd say his mother has taken on a bit of idol-status in his mind, mostly because of the impact she left on him, and this memory he has of her that had helped him ground himself in the past

19. What's their strongest emotion, the one which mostly rules them and compels them to action

Quinn--fear. He's constantly got this low-grade fear running under his skin, but he'd never acknowledge it as such. Helplessness is a side effect of that fear, and it's what drives him to act, especially recklessly, because he's terrified of being forced to watch from the sidelines while being unable to do anything to help :'((
