disabled trans cripple needing to relocate by 2/28/23 or face homelessness
hello, i am a schizophrenic crippled trans person who is struggling to keep hir housing. i was recently granted some assistance by a rent help organization, however, i will not be able to apply for their services again for at least 90 days, and my current complex has given me until February 28th, 2023 before i have to leave for good. they are terminating my lease contract and i cannot afford to renew due to being disabled and flat broke. my current complex is expecting $1,000/month for the studio i live in which is completely unaffordable to me.
i make $245/month from the government while my disability payments get approved. i need to save up funds for application fees for new apartments, relocation/transportation fees as i cannot drive due to my disabilities, boxes/storage, security deposit, first month's rent, and so on. i have a case worker who is helping me find the cheapest, safest apartments we can, and we are working with a few organizations to find housing for disabled ppl. the wait lists are just taking time
