also I totally get how you feel agh when I first started dabbling in digital art I absolutely hated it dkjshfkjdhfs The hand-eye-screen coordination is super difficult to control imo!! I still have a hard time with it 😔😔

But hmm any tips I could give rlly depends on the medium! I draw on an iPad, so I’m kinda cheating the difficult part since I’m drawing directly on the screen dhsfkdh embarrassing! Anyways, if u draw with a tablet and the hand-eye coordination is what ur struggling with, there’s a bunch of exercises you can do to make it easier!

For example using the tablet as much as possible instead of a mouse, even when you’re not drawing, will make you master it quicker! It’s also a good idea to practice drawing simple stuff first: lines and hatching, shapes, dots, etc.! It’s all about getting familiar with the feel of it

And if you’re like me and you draw directly on the screen, then the second tip still goes! Just getting used to what it feels like to draw on a non-resistant surface is an important step in the process of getting comfortable with digital art

Also get to know the program ur using!! Sounds super obvious when I write it like that lolol but really knowing what tools your program offers and what it can help with will save u a LOT of grief... clipping masks, stabilisers, effect layers and the like are the Holy Grail 🙌 and learning how to customise/create brushes to make them fit your preferences is helpful, too! There’s tons of video tutorials out there that touch on all the different features of each art program
