If you could write canon law that your WoL/D and only your warrior could have one superpower from the fantasy realm…

Keeping in mind that we have super speed, teleportation, understand any language, speak any language, invisibility (if you’re a Ninja or have the Exarch around), and super strength. Not to mention, an extent of immortality and skills that could be considered inhuman strength.

Would they have Midas touch? Fly with / without wings and no mount? Transfiguration? Summoning objects from other places into their grasp? Talking to animals?

What would be the advantage of this superpower and how often would they use it?

What disadvantages might it have?

How would this superpower aid them in their role as savior of the realms?

Do you, as a writer, stick to the regional themes as presented by the MSQ?

How deep has your research gone in order to keep it authentic?

For instance in Kugane the theme is heavily eastern, even going so far as to mention religious and cultural traditions that differ than those in who are or once were European colonies.

In Tural most of the cultures reflect lower North America and upper South America without mentioning much about Aztec or North American indigenous culture.

Did you research more into the significance of this particular theme or stick to the simple references that were provided by the MSQ? How in depth did you dive as an author for the sake of authenticity?

Wanderers

With a heart and soul that is fulfilled by wandering, what does your WoL/D do with their off time?

Do they wander through new areas they aren’t familiar with yet? Do they revisit old memories? Do they revisit old places from past adventures with the hopes of finding hidden wonders among familiar territories?

What about other duties? Do they, like many super heroes we know, have an alternative life with a typical job and separate persona? How do they appease their wandering mind? Perhaps they are enjoy topography chronicling?

Does the idea of exploration still thrill them or has it become an old hat? What keeps them interested in exploration?

With our travels taking us all over the world and exposing us to various types of cuisine; what culture has become your WoL/Ds favorite?

What attracts them to this culinary style? Is it something that they can easily replicate on the road? What lengths do they often go to when craving said recipes? Are they a frequent visitor to the region just to sample new variations of their favorites?

Or is their favorite style of home cooking something that is more traditional where they grew up? Unfortunately their road this far has taken them so far away that they haven’t had the opportunity to return for some time and no one else seems to come close with their rendition?

Different shards, same faces, shards of the same souls.

We’re rejoined 7 times, the only being that has more of their original soul than or equal to us is G’raha Tia, having lived through a rejoining with the 8th Umbral Calamity while locked away in the crystal tower and surviving. Both he and we have 9 shards rejoined to others 8.

How has your WoL/D handled the idea that there’s another version of themselves out there? That this shard may look nothing like us. Despite the idea that our past selves who lived as Azem may or may not be a direct ancestor and of the same race, this other shard may take on a wildly different variation.

The same can be said for shards of other souls we have come across on our journey.

How might they and their version of the Scions recognize their shards elsewhere? How would they act knowing that they couldn’t tell their shards the truth in order to avoid a possible act of soul supremacy? What if there is a shard out there that’s stronger than us; despite being less completed?

What preliminary mental measures have they taken for these possible outcomes?

Medieval, Contemporary, or futuristic; which era does your WoL/D prefer?

We’ve seen so many different places that span many different cultures and eras throughout history. Some of which we have yet to see and others that are so remotely hidden that the world is all but ignorant to them.

Which era suits your warriors interest more than any other? What role would they play in that society? Would they even fit in despite their interest in the world?

How might / do they use this interest to disappear into this society when they don’t want to be found for a time?

Heavens Tower, the sultan tree, Everschade, & grandmother laurel; examples of an ancient symbol known as the tree of life.

One that dates back centuries to BC times. It’s a symbol found in various cultures and religions, representing concepts such as enlightenment, wisdom, and the interconnectedness of all living beings. It often signifies the connection between the physical and spiritual worlds, as well as themes of growth and renewal.

In Norse and Celtic mythology it also has ties to dragon lore with such entities as Tiamat and Níðhöggr.

What ancient symbols does your WoL/D have in their history? Does the tree of life hold any significance to them? What about old legends that are alive and well in the final fantasy universe?

How might something about resurrection and renewal fit into your warriors spiritual narrative?

What kind of style does your WoL have?

Are they a glamour hound or more of a one trick pony? Which is to say, are they able to create an iconic look and style on their own or is their signature appearance something that was a premade outfit dyed to their preference?

Do they have the same design for every class and job or are they able to utilize each glamor plate for something different? Do they find themselves frustrated because they run out of plates for new styles and have to dismantle an outfit they love to make room for the possible next new trend?

How often do they use classic styles like lore outfits like metían attire or the strife collection? Do they avoid these all together? What about their generic race gear? Do they ever sport traditional garb?

Almost everyone gives nicknames to their friends. Names that others may or may not know them by or even use. Associations that have meaning for the bearer and the giver often given in remembrance of a specific occasion. Sometimes we openly accept these new titles and sometimes we hate them.

Does your Wol/D have a nickname? How did they earn this moniker? Do they answer to it or ignore that it’s ever said?

What kind of parent is your Warrior? Are they overprotective? Do they have the mindset that their child should also learn how to defend themselves just as they have?

Have they hidden their child away someplace safe and never told even the Scions about them? Where would this place be now that visiting other worlds is possible for us and our enemies?

Have they raised them openly with obvious intentions that if harm was to come to their child they would not hold their hands back? What kind of retaliation might they have in mind?

What makes them feel this is justifiable parenting? How did they come to this conclusion? What part of their parenting style reflects how they were raised? What part is the complete opposite?

As the WoL/D, savior of the realm, we canonically live a rather nomadic lifestyle. Moving from place to place wherever the whims of fate take us. Even going beyond the stars in doing so.

But

Without this would your warrior be the type to migrate with the changing seasons; changing places often and following an instinctive path as many tribes still do?

What keeps your warriors feet on the road? How do they shelter themselves without a brick and mortar type of house? How do they know where and when to keep moving? Are they in the habit of utilizing traditional inn rooms or do they prefer a more mobile shelter just outside the settlement where their adventure is currently located?

What makes your warrior different from those who choose to live within city walls?
