If you are on Primal data center, Behemoth Server @naga-lalamaga and I ( @grieverworship ) are exchanging our Eternal Vows on FRIDAY DECEMBER 12, 2025 (They’re married in the outside world.)
We’ll be gathering in Ul’dah at the old main city gate at the head of Ruby Road exchange about 5:45 USA Atlantic time. (New York, GMT -5) Here you can grab your invitation and join in the festivities!
From there we will parade on company Chocobo’s to the Sanctuary of the Twelve. Ceremony will be at 7 pm GMT -5 Afterwards we will be gathering at the “Waltz for the Moon” FC house. (Primal, Behemoth, Empyreum, Ward 25, Plot 47)
Naga will be streaming the ceremony on his Twitch channel .

Kicking through the sparse undergrowth of the faintly familiar boreal forest led me to small clearing that featured some rocky outcroppings and a downhill descent. Stepping out into the open, however, gave me pause-…
How did I come to arrive here?
My thoughts raced as I attempted to scan my recent memory - surely I hadn't spaced out and wandered off again-? No-… In fact I was fairly certain I had just gone to bed-
A dream. That's it. Must be.
As if on queue with my conclusion, my ears picked up the susurration of twiggy leaves underfoot, coming from my left, not far from me. Oddly, I felt no urgency, tilting my head and leaning forward to try and peer through the crowd of trees. I felt my expression stretch into astonishment - eyes wide and jaw slack as I watched a small, thin figure slowly stride out past the treeline.
Those robes-… That staff-…
He hadn't seen me yet, being right alongside the edge of the clearing as well, but the soft gasp that left me had the hooded 'stranger' pivot and draw his weapon… That starkly familiar golden rod with the iridescent crystal set at it's crown. My gaze lifted to peer into the shadowed hood of the traveler. Despite not seeing anything behind the magicked veil, it only confirmed my suspicions…
My hands lifted, showing I meant no harm. There was no real danger from the rather unnerved young mage that I couldn't respond to - and given my relaxed demeanor, he seemed to catch on. The staff never lowered, but at least he wasn't preparing a spell.
"Who are you-?"
That's right-… He wouldn't-… We look so different now. I never could have imagined-…
My face tensed as I clenched my jaw. I can't get caught up in my thoughts now - I was already hesitating. A name means a lot, especially between mages, but I obviously couldn't tell the truth…
"I'm-…" Think-… Think of something… elvish-? "Evindal. Evindal-…Fortemps."
"… You are a half-elf then-…" The adolescent wanderer relaxed somewhat, slowly lowering his staff. Given my 'name' there was a layer of trust now. He continued, "Rinji," Of course. "That's-…all." The secondary mumble came as he finally put away his weapon and lowered his head.
An old, forgotten ache pulled at my chest… My hands slowly lowered and some odd sense of-…pity caused my brow to furrow.
"… No family?" I already knew the answer. His height, his voice-…the way he carried himself. This-… Whatever this 'dream' was, it can't have been long since she-…
"No." Replying all too curtly , 'Rinji' turned away from me, slowly approaching the rock formation nearby and finding a comfortable spot to sit. I hesitantly followed, giving him some space as I chose to sit with him, leaning back onto a taller stone.
My jaw tensed again as I fought to find some words, my gaze darting across the soil between us.
"It-…must be lonely…" Really? That was the best I could come up with? I know how it felt-…
He scoffed, doubtless feeling belittled by such an unaware statement. "It's hard not to feel that way when the whole world either sees you as dirt to tread upon or the most vile scum for daring to exist."
Ah, yes-… although I know well that my thoughts during this time were more than warranted - it did take some effort not to physically recoil from a not-so-faint pang of regret. What could I even begin to say to this former self? For once, my mouth moved before I could consider my words.
"You aren't alone." Spoken strongly, my words brought about another ache in my chest. I took a deep breath through the nose.
"I have found-… that you're never alone. On a long journey, you end up touching so many lives. It may take time, and an open heart, but you will meet others who treat you with kindness. This may not mean much to you, but-… just keep moving forward. You'll find somewhere you belong."
… After a few seconds of silence, a light huff came from under 'Rinji's hood, and my adolescent self pulled his knees up to his chest.
"What makes you sound so sure…?" His voice was another quiet mutter. Doubt plagued his tone and I could feel his eyes piercing me with suspicion.
"Let's say-…experience." That was probably vague enough. Although, even if this strange encounter were real, I had no recollection of it.
"… You're an odd man." He sounded finished with our brief interaction already. No doubt I'd drained what little patience he had. All I could respond with was an awkward chuckle.
Bowing my head, I pushed myself up from the rocks and gave the young mage a simple farewell wave as I turned away.
"Safe travels then - and may the Wanderer watch over your path."
"Huh-?"
My former self's slightly shocked interjection was the last I heard before slipping away through the trees, bringing a close to this unusual 'dream'…
No matter what-… I know you'll find the family you seek.
As the WoL/D we have ever been keen on taking orders from those around us. Seldom is it that we ever question the authority or our peers when they’re giving us commands.
Has it ever struck your warrior that our behavior is little more than a trained animal? Someone says jump and we not only ask how high, we try to exceed their expectations.
How does your warrior handle this? Does it bother them that even one assumes we’re going to do as we’re told without question? How do they feel knowing that people who are possibly half their age (Alphanald Leveilleur for example) feel comfortable with pointing their weapon in the direction of their enemies without a second thought?
How did this change when the Exarch gave us the choice? What about when returning to Eorzea, the same habit picked right back up again and even extended to Tural when someone who we had never met before crossed an ocean and those from their homeland treated us similarly especially once the scions stepped in?
How does your warrior feel about being little more than an emotionless, thoughtless, muscle for hire in the eyes of the masses?

What if Meteor himself made an appearance in the Kingdom Hearts universe? How well would your WoL/D fit into the realm of the mouse?

Your WoL/D is inflicted with a chronic illness or disease. Not ADD/ADHD or something similar; a physically debilitating condition such as epilepsy or hypertension.
Similar to Thancred not being able to use Aether magic or Y’shtola being blind but NOT having aetheric sight. Maybe as severe as Arenvald’s infliction where there is a degree of paralysis.
Final Fantasy as a series is hesitant to discuss such miladies or even create characters with a disability. We all know this is what makes us human, and gives us a unique opportunity to learn how to adjust despite the odds.
How does your warrior go about researching ways to adapt? What resources do they utilize? How have they learned to use their skills to overcome their “setbacks”? What advantages does their “disability” give them that other people might have a hard time understanding? What hindrances does it present?

On the technology front most of Eorzea is inexplicably devoid of anything more advanced than a fire pit and wagon wheels. Though as the WoL/D we have access to flying cars and various types of magi-tech that we own without question.
What has the leaps in and out of technology been like for your warrior? Have they ever questioned their uncanny knack for adapting to technology that technically doesn’t exist? (Flying motor vehicles) What about the more fanciful variety like flying carpets or elephants?
Which is your warrior more at home in, a world where technology is almost exclusively used in one region and is still basically primitive or one such as Alexandria where they seem unable to function without technology?
What are the reasons behind this?

When we first started out on our path, be it in Gridania, Limsa, or Ul’dah; we were recruited because of our ability with the Echo and our talent with slaying primals.
What the MSQ has failed to address or even mention is that with every primal, sin eater, and Kami slain; we ourselves are growing in a kind of notoriety that may eventually elevate us to the rank of a Saint; a fact that is hinted in the trailer for EverCold. This may also lead to our visage being summoned through prayer as a primal.
While some WoL/Ds have tied to Voidsent, SinEaters and other powerful beings. There aren’t many who have ties to primals or have considered about what might happen if they become one themselves.
Do you think your WoL would have the strength to overcome your primal rage or be able control their instincts long enough to take control? In other words what kind of deity would your warrior be? Would they be like Garuda, Titan, and Ifrit and mindlessly answer the call of their summoners?
Would they be more like Shiva, Ryne, Tsukyomi and Ramu; able to be fully aware of their actions?
How would your WoL feel or act in the wake of the aftermath of their own destruction? What if that rise to power sacrifices their loved ones in turn?
