I DO understand that you ARE trying to help me with constructive criticism, and on a level I agree - especially as someone who is very good friends with a sound engineer who has given me many speeches about this. But there is something fundamentally important about my creative process that I don't think a lot of people relate to. Kinda like how Vewn draws characters in ways she prefers, and doesn't try to create bento-box looking (ultra-clean puppet) characters... I feel this way, philosophically, about voice-over.

I make animation with my friends because I enjoy making things with them, not because I'm trying to imitate what other people are doing.

I know it's very difficult to comprehend for some people because they associate "quality" with whatever is most widely accepted as "good." But when you're a real artist or creator, the act of creating itself is the important part, not the result of what you make.

I choose voice actors based on what my heart wishes, voice actors are an emotional and spiritual choice for me - not business one. Sometimes, this means calling on my professional voice actor friends with incredible talent and an understanding of sound engineering.

But sometimes, this means recording a neighbor with my phone, having a friend send me a voice message, or having a relative or hero I look up to shoot me some lines via phone.

I'm so grateful that you all enjoyed it so much that we made a couple more. :) incredible design and boards by @nematode-pulse anim and voice is me here's more about the series: Smolotov is a young anarchist that train hopped across the country with her best friends & her loon, “Big Dawg.” (Those close to Big Dawg call him Pancake.) Her and her friends snuck to Liberty Island after receiving magic “party favours” from a local. They went to the Statue of Liberty completely unnoticed. Then, something crazy happened... At first, they were concerned that they may be hallucinating. The cloth on the statue was swaying like real cloth. On investigating, they found out the cloth was real. All three of the friends cut a piece of the cloth and wrapped it on different parts of their bodies as a bandana equivalent of a best friendship bracelet. When train hopping back home, they noticed strange glowing from the cloths... And when they finally stepped back on home soil, it happened: their first .. magical girl transformation!!!!!!!!!!
