Iroh claps a hand on Sokka's shoulder with a smile.
"So I have heard! Come inside, have some tea."
His hand tightens just very slightly.
"I believe we have much to discuss."
Sokka can't help but smile back and let out a happy little purr when Iroh invites him for tea.
"Tea does sound divine, thank you."
When Iroh's hand tightens very slightly on his shoulder, the young brunette lets out a curious coo.
"We have and I think Zuko will be very happy to know that we'd had talk. You're very important to him and I cannot slip the opportunity to show you how much I love him."
Aang is looking exhausted..he's got bags around his eyes as he's flinching whenever he hears fireworks...

"Struggling to sleep....and....those don't help ...the fireworks....they remind me.. of what I heard as I left on appa"
"Oh, I know what you need! Some of Appa's fur to cover your ears. Maybe it will work and I think Appa's shedding so we can collect some of his fur now. Wanna try?"
"Hmmm sure" he nodded getting up and walking over to the skybison and giving the big guy a forehead kiss as best as the young avatar could "i never got around to this but....thank you for freeing me...." ...
He smiled and followed suit and gave Appa a gentle hug as Aang kissed his forehead. Then, he gently began to pick some of the skybison's loose fur and he made little balls out of it.
"You know you don't have to thank us for freeing you. It was the minimum we could do upon seeing someone stuck in a giant ice ball."
"The weird thing is I only get flashes before the ice it's not clear it's hazy....like you're stuck in fog" he explains copying his friend's work "like that?" He smiled happily
"A fog? Hm, I think we need to ask someone more experienced with spiritual things. Oh!! Can you ask one of your past lives, maybe?" He suggested as he'd make a few fluffy fur balls with Appa's fur. "Oh yes yes. We need to make them a bit small so it can cover your ears nicely."
Aang nodded making them small enough to fit his ears but also so he could still hear sokka... "do you have any questions for me....you know about.....my time i... suppose?"" He asked the waterbender
Sokka lets out a few giggles as he watched Aang cover his ears with Appa's fur and he does the same so the airbender doesn't feel alone in his situation. "I do have some questions, yes. What types of desserts Air Nomads had with their meals? Any delicacy that no one else could try to do? Or did you all just eat veggies and fruits? Some fruit for dessert sounds nice, actually."
"Sooo... got time for that activity together?"

Zuko follows along behind Sokka, rolling his eyes fondly.
"And you sound like Katara sometimes."
Sokka snickers with his inner alpha purring happily for having such a perfect omega.
"Do not compare me to her. She's always so..."
Well, Zuko wanted to say "mother-hen" but thinking back to their adventures together, really, being the oldest, he mothered them quite a bit. He doesn't remember how many times he told them to stop messing around, to get out of Appa's mouth, to stop playing with their food. Especially Aang.
"So what? You can say it. I know it's not offensive."
Sokka thinks about all the times both Katara and Zuko mothered up their group, and he is thankful that they did it. He should have taken that role as well considering he's just one year younger than the prince and the eldest sibling, but oh well. What's done it's done and he can't change the past.
"I don't feel like throwing a stone at that glass house. I know I'm just as bad as her about mothering you guys."
Zuko grumbles, huffing. Still, he wasn't really upset, making a show of it more than anything.
"You both are amazing parental figures. I would never trade your mothering or hers for anything in the world. Besides, if you mother me up so good then you'll be an amazing Mama for our pups!"
Sokka tries this one line to see if he can get one of Zuko's beautiful smiles.
"Hah... I never thought of myself as ever being a parent, even when I was younger. I was told that was my duty to the Fire Nation, but I never really imagined that life for myself. I wanted to fight, to prove myself, and being a mother didn't fit into that ideal. My mother tried to prepare me for it, in multiple ways. She knew I couldn't avoid my fate as an omega of the Fire Nation, so she did her best to teach me how to protect myself if my future alpha was... pushy. But now, I do want to be a parent. Of my own volition."
"You have to tell me more about your mother. She sounds like an amazing person and I bet your kindness and beauty come from her. Is she an omega too? And bet bet. Future Fire Lord Cutiepatotie Zucchini brings honor to us all and to his beautiful pups!"
"She was an omega, yes. She also was an actress and was in many plays. She introduced me to theater. She actually fell in love with her co-star, but... Father wanted her for himself, so he forced her to marry him instead. He tried to have her lover killed, but he managed to escape. And stop calling me that!"

"No. I can't find him. I can't even find her, Sokka. I have no idea where she is. Fath- Ozai won't tell me anything. He knows something, but he likes holding this one last thing over my head because he feels it gives him control. And the answer is both."
"Hm, this is actually very easy. Make me talk to him and you'll get the answers you need. I know how to be persuasive. Besides, big ol' bendless Ozai needs to meet his son's boyfriend properly, hehe. And what? Why? Don't you love the nicknames I give you?"
Zuko giggles, honest-to-spirit giggles. He grins at Sokka, pinching his cheek.
"You gonna use your Water Tribe interrogation tatics on him, or what? Even then, I doubt he'll give you his blessing for my hand. Not that we need it."
Sokka smiles widely and lets out a few giggles too. Seeing the love of his life this happy makes him happy.
"I'm gonna use all the Water Tribe interrogation tactics I know and I will some Sokka interrogation tactics too. By the end of our little chit chat he'll give his blessing, the location of your mother's whereabouts and definitely an apology for being a very bad father."
Zuko offers a gentle smile before suddenly doubling over in pain, gripping his stomach. His scent sharpens, but strangely, it doesn't turn sour. In fact, it only sweetens, smelling like slightly burnt caramel.
"Sh-Shit... Fuck, not now..."
Sokka melts when Zuko offeres him a gentle smile, but soon his instincts pick up on something. He watches his lover suffering and his nose catches the scent of burnt caramel. His eyes widen because of that and he begins to panic.
"To the palace, now!! Hang in there, Zu. I got you!!"
He does get his boyfriend because he picks him up immediately - or at least he tries is best because Zuko has more muscle mass than him despite being an omega - and rushes to get baxk to the palace.
"Agni, ow... Sokka..."
Zuko groans, tucking his head into Sokka's neck, trying to inhale as much of his scent as he can. His alpha was right there. His alpha was carrying him. He was safe, even if his abdomen was cramping like crazy.
"We're almost there. Hang on!!"
Sokka's protective instincts were on and he was walking the fastest he could while carrying his precious lover. He knew what was going on and he had to take Zuko back to his nest and alert the palace's staff that they'd have a long week ahead.
The guards part like the sea when they see the alpha rushing into the palace with their prince, following closely behind Sokka to make sure that Zuko was safe. The omega let out soft groans and whines, alerting the staff of his condition. Soon, the palace was crawling with security and an important-looking beta woman approached Sokka as he moved Zuko into his nest.
"Thank you for bringing our beloved Prince Zuko back safely. We shall take it from here. The guards will escort you out."
If Sokka didn't have any muscle mass, then today's the day it pops out for the world to see. He's glad his little work outs are proving to be useful because he is caring Zuko the best he can and when he lays him down on his fluffy nest, he sighs proudly. Sadly, said beta woman said what would cause his inner alpha to roar.
"I'll be taking care of his hotness, Ma'am. I'm his boyfriend and he needs someone from his pack to be with him. So, if you'll excuse me, you're excused."
And with that Sokka pushed the lady away and closed the door to Zuko's room with a loud thud.
"But-!"
The woman's words are cut off by the door slamming, being locked from the inside. Zuko let out a long whine from his nest, the ache in his abdomen only growing more painful.
"Sokka..."
Sokka is humming pleased with his attitude, but he has to cut it off when he hears Zuko whining and calling out to him. He walks up to the nest and gave his omega a caring smile.
"What can I assist you with? Do you need some water and a few snacks? Maybe some tea to ease the pain? I will do anything to help you!"
"Tea... I want Uncle's tea... or Ms. Rei's..."
Zuko murmurs, trying to get comfortable in his nest. Everything felt too hot, too much. He hated heats. He hadn't had to deal with them during banishment when he was on some suppressants for his safety.
"I'll bring both then. Don't worry my sweet pumpkin, your alpha is here to help you. Try to sleep while I go out and when I come back we can cuddle, okay?"
Sokka has never seen Zuko in heat and he wants to learn what makes the omega more comfortable. He knows a few tricks, though. Teas, balms, cuddles, everything helps.
"But... Uncle is in Ba Sing Se..."
Zuko sniffles, looking incredibly vulnerable and very obviously missing his uncle.
"Shoot, I forgot that. Uhm, do you have anything of his for your nest? A coat maybe? Or maybe some of his special brews that I can make a tea of?"
Sokka asks as he leans closer to gently pet Zuko's head. He feels feverous and he must be in great pain.
"I have one of his robes..."
Zuko pulls out a green silk robe, curling around it and burying his face into it, trying to inhale the calming scent of his uncle as much as he can.
Sokka cannot help but be in awe upon seeing how Zuko is trying to soothe himself with Iroh's robes. That is giving him an idea, actually.
"I brought a few robes when I came to visit you, I'll pick one and give it to you so you have another scent to calm you down. What do you think?"
Have you met Zuko's dragon yet?
"He has a dragon?! I gotta ask him!!"
Zuko grins, looking smug.
"He's going to be huge, Sokka. His head is going to be larger than my entire body. I've had many concerns that he is not going to fit inside the palace at his full size. He might be an outdoor dragon. Perhaps I'll have something constructed just for him."
"Huge........? Head bigger than your entire body......? Zuko, where did you find him again?? Should we ask someone about dragon growth and maybe puberty too??"
Sokka looks at his boyfriend and then at Druk. How come the little dragon will become a giant? The alpha has so many questions now.
"I found him, uh... in that same abandoned place where me and Aang learned the Dancing Dragon firebending move. Big golden egg just in the center. I, uh... felt something inside me. The spirits or something, telling me to take it. So I did. And I'm planning on trying to find that library that you guys got buried in the deserts of the Earth Kingdom for some knowledge about him."
"Wan Shi Tong's Library? Zu, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but that place must be buried for good. The giant owl spirit didn't want us there and Toph barely held the whole structure alone and she's the best earthbender in the world. But! If you really want to try it out, I'll go with you. I can't let my Omega do everything alone or I'd be a terrible partner."
"I have to try. Maybe Druk could communicate with Wan Shi, help him understand that I only want to learn. You said he buried it because you tried to use it to defeat the Fire Nation, right? I only want to help bring back the dragons, the orginal firebenders, into the world. Surely he'll understand."
"Maybe Druk can communicate with mister big owl, but if things go sour we'll be there for support. No one stops my amazing Omega and our cute flamy son!"

"Uhm, well, you see, we were in a war, we had to make a plan for an attack to the Fire Nation and the big owl spirit thought he knew everything."
"And he specifically warned you not to use that knowledge for war, right?"
"Are you siding with the big owl spirit or are you happy that my plan would have gone flawless if it wasn't for your sister overhearing it from the Earth King?"
"I'm happy that you managed to escape a spirit's wrath despite acting like a moron. You're lucky you had the greatest earthbender in the world there to keep you alive. Or so Toph tells me."
"You called me a moron, but since we're boyfriends I'll think of it as a cute nickname. And yeah, if it wasn't for Toph we're be done for."
"I didn't call you a moron. I said you acted like one. Big difference. Instead, maybe you should try acting like the genius inventor that you are."
"My my, my sweet boyfriend thinks I am a genius inventor? You know what is my greatest invention so far?"
"Well, the war balloon was pretty impressive."
"It was. And so was my submarines. I have a sketchbook full of inventions that are yet to be made real. Want to see it?"

Zuko wouldn't admit it out loud quite yet, but he found this side of Sokka to be incredibly attractive. Even when he was their enemy, seeing the Watertribe boy outsmart him was both frustrating and alluring. Intelligence was hot.
"Then let me show you!! I think I left my sketchbook in my very masculine purse in Appa's saddle. Let's pick it up and I'll show you wonders!!"
Sokka wouldn't admit it for now, but he liked to see when Zuko was interested in something. His eyes sparkled in a way that made the alpha loose his breath.
"Appa is here? Are the others here as well? And masculine purse...?"
"You didn't see Appa right in the middle of a camp eating hay? And yes and yes. My purse is very masculine. I bought it during the war. It's green and I can fit so many different things in it."

I only want to help bring back the dragons, the orginal firebenders, into the world. Surely he'll understand."
"Maybe Druk can communicate with mister big owl, but if things go sour we'll be there for support. No one stops my amazing Omega and our cute flamy son!"

"I'm a charmer and incredibly handsome and extremely smart and an amazing boyfriend, thank you. Oh yes yes, I did made him angry, but I had my reasons!!"

"Uhm, well, you see, we were in a war, we had to make a plan for an attack to the Fire Nation and the big owl spirit thought he knew everything."

"Are you siding with the big owl spirit or are you happy that my plan would have gone flawless if it wasn't for your sister overhearing it from the Earth King?"
"I'm happy that you managed to escape a spirit's wrath despite acting like a moron. You're lucky you had the greatest earthbender in the world there to keep you alive. Or so Toph tells me."

Zuko wouldn't admit it out loud quite yet, but he found this side of Sokka to be incredibly attractive. Even when he was their enemy, seeing the Watertribe boy outsmart him was both frustrating and alluring. Intelligence was hot.
"Then let me show you!! I think I left my sketchbook in my very masculine purse in Appa's saddle. Let's pick it up and I'll show you wonders!!"
Sokka wouldn't admit it for now, but he liked to see when Zuko was interested in something. His eyes sparkled in a way that made the alpha loose his breath.
Aang is looking exhausted..he's got bags around his eyes as he's flinching whenever he hears fireworks...
