Hey so I’m kinda freaking out about it but if you follow my FFXIV account Sproutoflight or Woaddragoon, for some reason @staff terminated it. I am totally heartbroken that I was just starting to get my legs with posting. I am appealing the termination cause literally the only thing I posted recently was that I got into Grad school. Hopefully it is fixed, otherwise I’m gonna have to start from scratch AGAIN. Totally heartbroken.

I went into my local game shop and while I was looking at dice they came over and asked if I wanted to look at anything. Immediately realized they wearing an astrologian necklace, and said I liked it. Felt a bit “I like your shoelaces” but not too cringe.
We full launched into discussing the game. I sheepishly admitted I was only just starting Shadowbringers. We agreed that Stormblood was not that good (or at least had a tough act to follow story wise from Heavensward). It was great!! Now I really want to get a dragoon symbol of some sort, or at least something FFXIV to add to my bag.
The interaction was only made funnier by the two groups of older ladies LOUDLY playing Mahjong (which I have started to learn for FFXIV ironically) in the background. Very out of place for the normal clientele of the shop but so funny to listen to. I so desperately want to learn but I was too intimidated to ask them about it 😔

My girl in all her glory! I admittedly did finally make a mog station purchase because I hated the hair options so much, but it fits her so well I can't be mad. Also, I tried to make her look a little older, so darker lips and straighter brows. Totally in love. I tweaked her a little since this photo because I usually do a fantasia after every expansion, so she's leaner and tan now.
Finally went back and did all my job quests after realizing I hadn't done any since level 60. So so excited to see Estinien again. I actually got to see all my favorite guys today lol.
Speaking of! Alphinaud is like her little brother and Lyse is her best friend. Such a cool moment. Thancred is obviously the OG and Arenvald has been growing on me.
Not nearly as good as the ARR finale, but I appreciated this little moment.

i think the thing that made thancred as a character click for me was watching the 1.0 ul'dah cutscenes and realizing that that shit was well and truly not his fucking fault. like i had always assumed he had been fucking around or flirting or reneging his duty in some way but??? he wasn't??? he responded quickly he tried his best he just failed to resolve the situation 100% perfectly. and thats when I was like oh this isn't at all about atoning this is just a guy completely psychologically invested in denying himself happiness. awesome
