Rook: 39 | Mercenary | Omni, male leaning Slow burn, enemies/rivals to lovers, employer/client to lovers, partners in crime, reluctant allies, second chances, mutual pining, “this was only supposed to be sex” gone horribly wrong. He's capable of attraction to women, but after Tal it'd take a pretty special one to catch his attention.

Cross: 40 | Outlaw / Security | Closeted homosexual Friends to lovers, fake dating/relationships (fem/male), rivals to lovers, “we're just friends” while behaving suspiciously married, forbidden/secret romance, denial, jealousy, cowboys being emotionally constipated at each other. Give me the struggle of a man who's spent forty years insisting this part of himself doesn't exist.

Seven: ?? (assume roughly 40, I like writing my age range ocs) | Technician / Living Weapon | Demi Currently about as emotionally available as a brick wall, so this one needs extra time. First love, strangers to lovers, enemies to lovers, learning intimacy, “why do I want you around?”, someone seeing the man instead of the weapon, devotion developing long before he has a name for it.

My absolute unicorn would be finding one writer with multiple OCs who clicks with me enough that we eventually write all three ships together. Not a requirement. Separate writers are completely welcome. I'll just be slower to consider multiple partners because I prefer keeping my RP life relatively simple and organized. Selective because much as I enjoy this aspect of RP I don't require it. ===

I'm a sucker for mutual pining, opposites attract, forbidden romance, hurt/comfort, sexual tension, angst, conflict, misunderstandings, complicated histories, height differences, and relationships that actually have to develop.

I want the oh fuck, when did I start caring about you? They make terrible decisions. Catch feelings. Panic about catching feelings. Hurt each other. Fix it. Be disgustingly domestic for five minutes. Find something new to argue about.

I don't want bam, we're together, happily ever after. That's The Sims with the motherlode cheat: exciting at first, boring real quick. Give me tension, setbacks, consequences and character development alongside the soft stuff.

A few OOC things: I'm an older millennial, transmasc nb (putting that upfront to weed out anyone who'd take issue), and generally vibe best with other older writers. I'm partnered IRL and not looking for anything romantic OOC. Friendship and platonic affection between writing partners are absolutely welcome, but let's give the friendship time to develop too.

You don't need to join RSC to ship with one of my guys. Bonus if you'd enjoy getting involved or collaborating with the crew, but it's not expected.

One firm boundary: I don't do gossip or policing each other's RP circles. I don't care who you write with or know, and I won't accept anyone telling me who I can write with or know either. RP is my hobby and passion, presumably yours too. I'd rather keep our focus on that.

Mostly, I'm looking for someone who wants to build stories together, gets stupidly attached to our little fictional people, throws ideas back and forth, and understands that sometimes making the blorbos suffer is an act of love.

If any of these disasters sound like your OC's particular flavor of bad decision, feel free to poke me. I won't pick someone immediately, nor should you, me... but I'd love to try some RP together with the possibility of a ship in mind and see where their chemistry takes them.

Lastly, I deal with an ongoing illness that occasionally flares at the worst possible times, plus whatever else life decides to throw onto my plate. Please be comfortable with the occasional “sorry, I'm going to need a few days to get my reply out.” I'll always extend the same patience in return.
