going to bring back my code veronica url out of spite towards capcom

claire redfield “fans” who have never played code veronica or rev2 and only care about her in the context of leon literally pmo so bad. they don’t care about her story or the fact that what happened on rockfort island had an infinitely bigger impact on her life and future characterization than re2 ever did like sorry. imo code veronica is the single most important piece of claire’s lore. and re: steve it’s actually horrible how she left antarctica unable to save him and she wasn’t even able to give him the dignity of a proper burial and yet still all yall care about is cleon . like who gaf about leon let code veronica and claire shine on their own without him

im soul tied to code veronica …… not only was it my first video game EVER but it has been my favorite game ever since i grew up playing it on the dreamcast. that’s why i will be the toughest judge of this remake bc look its in my blood

all i wanted was a 1:1 faithful remake capcom. at MOST you can take the crystal ball puzzle and the moth hallway. but if they fuck this up…… capcom when i catch you!!!!

obviously as the expert and authority on code veronica and the #1 fan of the game since my childhood i have Thoughts on the remake announcement. bc why tf did none of the clips they showed look nothing like rockfort island (coniferous trees??? on a tropical island that shouldve had palm trees??? capcom reuses the same three environments and im tired of it) and where tf is claires opening sequence where she outruns the helicopter. having her get kidnapped from an apartment in paris rather than breaking into the umbrella labs is such a HORRIBLE and LAME CHANGE!!!!! not to mention the outfit…. not 90s enough for me. i had this same problem w claires re2 outfit …. not tacky and 90s enough
