Lizzy: Heartslabyul

There are times in the garden students of Heartslabyul can spot a cute small blue fox running around every now and again, Obviously no one knows where it came from or who it could belong to; however, what they do know is that it likes to cause chaos. Funnily enough it’s her that is the little gremlin causing chaos around the dorm

Speaking of her fox form, many would assume that was her signature spell. Wrong, that is just a condition she had after an experiment gone wrong back home. Her signature spell is actually called, Animal Party Necropolis: Being able to summon reanimated beasts to which she is able to summon up to two at a time

She makes it a point to at least try to be social with other students from the other dorms but primarily she can be found with peers from her dormitory. Amongst them, Cater is her bff as he lives for her chaotic energy and is pretty much her wingman. Riddle has a love hate friendship with her: he hates that she’s making a mess with her glitter bomb pranks, but also he rather enjoys her baking/cooking so it kinda balances out (If anyone ever tries to point out that she seems to get away with a lot, Riddle always denies it) If she isn’t with Cater, she can be found hanging out with the Leech twins. Her and Floyd get into all types of mischief together as Jade is there for the entertainment though of course even he’ll join in their shenanigans on occasion

Being part of the performance club after sometime students have considered her an idol. As of course, because of her vastly growing popularity Azul decides to capitalize on having idol Lizette coming to perform at the lounge on certain nights knowing it’ll bring in more customers. What could she say, she’s a fox of all trades

In a similar case to Rook, she will speak in Italian: she could be thinking in English but verbally it comes out in Italian OR if some unfortunate soul decided to make her mad whatever the case maybe… Well they’re not gonna understand a single thing she’s yelling at them cuz all English has flew out the window

Kaiser: Ignihyde

Kaiser is pretty anti-social and generally tends to keep her distance from others so she’d fit right in. She’s also pretty good with mechanics so she’s rather helpful in repairs or building

She is pretty much the tough sister figure of the dormitories group, probs the most violent member of Ignihyde if we’re being honest here. Idia doesn’t want her getting into trouble, but also he’s just very grateful that she has his back when needed (which is probs a lot cuz his anxiety)

If she’s forced to socialize for class purposes or the likes there are generally only three dorms she’d really surround herself with aside from her own dorm: Diasomnia, Pomefiore, and Octavinelle:

She isn’t exactly friends with Rook, but she’s capable of holding a conversation in French with him so of course he’s over the moon happy while on the other hand she is actually quite close to Epel; the first time she heard him curse she laughed (Which is very rare) and that’s pretty much how their friendship started.

There is a mutual respect between her and Jade as generally they’re partners during projects in classes they have together; however, Floyd on the other hand purposely annoys her to pick a fight to which his defense every time is “I can’t help it, Sea Snakey is just so cute when she’s angy.”

Just about everyone in Diasomnia she gets along with… Well except for Sebek; she gets rather annoyed when he is always loudly trying to correct her behavior/mannerisms around Malleus as Sebek sees her lax and casualness to be disrespectful to his housewarden.

Her signature spell is called Psychosis: She’s able to alter a person’s or group of people’s reality (in connection to her affinity to using illusionary magic)

Akemi: Diasomnia

Sweet, sweet baby is the most social and bubbly of the Diasomnia members. Despite her appearance of being short (shorter than Lilia by 3 inches), her being very cute, and her bubbly personality; Akemi is surely incredibly strong. Silver is the very protective brother figure who will carry her around or hold her hand

She’s pretty much liked by the majority of the students at the college and there are a good amount of students that even give her treats since it’s common to see her snacking throughout the day due to her need to keep up her energy

Her signature spell is called Simon Says: Similar to Ruggie’s Laugh With Me, with her blood acting like strings she’s able to control an individual’s body. The more strings she utilizes the stronger the control she has over the individual (poor Sebek nearly had a heart attack when seeing her bite her own hand to use her signature for the first time)

Speaking of Sebek he holds her to the same regard that he holds for their housewarden; he literally treats her like a princess. He’s a big ole’ worry wort that sticks beside her if Silver isn’t around in fear that some lowly individual would have the audacity to try to bully or harm her (even if she doesn’t need his protection, he still has a strong sense of responsibility to protect her)

Generally at times if she isn’t with her dorm family, she’s with Kalim as the two rays of sunshine's go for carpet rides to enjoy the beautiful day outside. Them being in the same room together is like a double kill of just lil beans being happy and sweet to others

Fay: Octavinelle

Her mature nature along with her elegance and her professionalism allows her to perfectly fit along with the other members of this dorm. Essentially she’s kinda like a Jade 2.0, but just an inch or two shorter than the twins

She’s very organized because of her ocd so needless to say all documents, reports, and the likes are organized accordingly by current date. Also if the smallest thing is out of place she will surely correct whoever made that mistake and have it be fixed. Surely her being an extra hand around Mostro Lounge helps so that Jade can tend to the more… Pressing matters

Speaking of pressing matters, if the twins happen to be busy with other tasks, Azul will send Fay to go seek out the students to have a small… Talk about their debts that still need to be paid

Fay’s signature spell is called Open Like A Book: Making eye contact with an individual she can see what they fear to which her magic manifests that very fear

There are very few people at the college she associates herself with, as it’s not necessarily about not getting along with others or even not liking someone. Moreover that if they cannot hold an intellectual conversation with her, she just simply has no interest in befriending them

It’s sometimes common to see her with Riddle or even Malleus when she isn’t working at the Monstro Lounge. She rather enjoys discussing policies and rules with Riddle over tea or they’re talking about interesting books they’ve read. On the other hand Malleus a lot of their interactions are mainly accompanying each other during strolls around the campus with small conversations here and there

Aphrodite: Pomefiore

Dite is right at home with how prim and proper she is along with her passion for fashion. She’s either loved or disliked, there’s really no in between which surprisingly she’s fine with and accepts things how they are… for the most part

Of course that nobility air to her can make her seem quite unapproachable unless she’s the one who’s initiating the conversation. Vil loves her; her clothing designs are impeccable, her etiquette is just about flawless. Truly she’s the standard that he strives to make all the other students in his dorm. Pretty much they’re together all the time except for the classes they don’t have together (which it’s majority of classes)

Even though she calls herself a bully who bullies the other bullies, she can become very cruel if set off. It’s much worse if the two are together, like it isn’t wise as thankfully many of the students are smart enough to know that. Her and Rook tend to clash every now and again over things like choice of colors and patterns for clothing, but any other time they get along fine

Beautification Crystallization is the name of Dite’s Signature Spell. Essentially this spells allow her to crystalize things; in the sense using it against other magic she can negate certain spells (except for fire) and can send the crystalized magic back at the castor

She’s definitely going to try and have her own little pop up shop in town for her clothes and the few accessories she makes. She really is a person who’s great at giving advice for what to get for gifts or even love advice

Genova: Scarabia

Probably the most skittish one out of all the other students of Scarabia, but her love of astrology certainly shows the makings of a Scarabia student

Kalim just LOVES being able to teach her about their customs and the likes; as he can come off as a little… Too strong or too excited at times, but thankfully Jamil is around to keep him contained for the most part

Well no one except for Crowley and the staff knew of Genova’s curse problem at the time. So the first time during a history class and Nova accidentally getting a papercut, needless to say pretty much all the students freaked out when she suddenly turned to ash out of nowhere only for a child version of her to be popping out of the ash pile moments afterwards. Over time it seems that Jamil had developed a sixth sense for whenever this happens since he’ll be there just a little while after it happened and if it ain’t him, it’s Jack

Speaking of child Genova, the amount of times Jamil has had to chase Lilia down to retrieve her is grand to which of course Silver scolds his father for ‘stealing’ a child. Floyd one time ran all the way to Monstro with her (probs as harmless as him wanting to treat her to chickie nuggies or just have a moment of being the older brother for once) as you could guess he unintentionally scared the poor thing making Nova cry. Thankfully Jade watched over her while he worked, the whole time she had clinged onto him for dear life

Her signature spell is called Protection of Bane: Bane being her contracted guardian, she can summon the huge black wolf as he’ll come out from the shadows. Essentially aside from protecting Genova, the bond they have he’s able to amplify her magical power thus allowing her to cast much stronger spells though it does tend to tire her out quicker the longer or the more she uses that amplified power

Genova:

Fidget/Anxiety rings: Our girl is just about a constant anxious individual so this would be one of the easiest things to have on hand since she would usually bite her nails, as she tries not to be self-destructive not wanting to trigger her curse. So because she utilizes weapons to cast magic, each one is a piece of jewelry so probably a few would be contained in the rings, talk about a multipurpose tool

Star gazing: As her hobby it’s just nice to just relax after a long day and just do something she truly enjoys doing and kind of forget about the day’s troubles; the cool breeze and the beautiful sight of the stars and night sky is just rather soothing and a sense of security

Tea time w/ papa Merkulova: Genova knows she can go talk to her roommate or her friends if she needs to just get something off her chest; however, there are times that her anxiety just prevents her from being comfortable enough to voice how she’s feeling or thinking. So she’ll go to Merkulova and they’d talk about how she’s feeling over tea and some baked goods until she felt better

Aphrodite:

Shopping/Clothes making: This is gonna sound so stereotypical but shopping or even just working on her clothes line helps her relax. Thinking of every detail down to material and color helps her not focus on the things that are bothering her

Rants to Elias: Like of course she’ll rant to her roommate or even her familiar Sheba, but of course her childhood friend is the voice of reason between the two of them. She could be talking about wanting to punch a guy in the throat for leading on one of her friends, but Elias is a great person to talk to. Not only does he validate her feelings and the like, he will provide her with more… Nonviolent alternatives of how to go about resolving things but there are times she will still choose violence (since a lot of her stresses are more social groups/friends based rather than academic)

Lash out: It isn’t like she does this on purpose, but there are just days where her fuse is very short for what she can tolerate. After-all she’s the bully who bullies the other bullies, but if she’s just having one of those days she can be rather harsh to others; if someone near her was possibly breathing too loud she’d tell the individual to shut their mouth. BUT of course when all comes to pass and she’s recollect herself she will certainly go and apologize along with a small gift possibly (unless they did something wrong to have it coming to them then she ain’t apologizing)

Kaiser:

Fighting: Let’s be real here, there isn’t a moment when this woman isn’t stressed or just a tad anxious (Though she never lets it show) and generally just like any other time she will choose violence. Well it depends on the type of day she’s having cuz she could either verbally be aggressive or she will wanna punch someone in the face; will it be Vincent? Maybe, strangely he sees it as a sparring opportunity

Playing with Jade: Jade is pretty much Kaiser’s emotional support pet. This serval cat loves her human and though she may not have been around as long as Fang has been, Jade is very loyal and always there when she senses that Kaiser needs her. Watching Jade trying to catch the dangling feather can be quite entertaining (honestly this is the most/only healthy way of Kaiser coping)

Substance: Though this isn’t her first choice all the time (it really depends on the day she’s had/been having) she probably would drink a little or even smoke/vape pot (maybe in the past has done other drugs but Kaiser ain’t stupid as she ain’t trying to have a ruined life again)

Lizette:

Fidget/Anxiety ring: She’s very expressive with her hands when she talks but otherwise going about her day her hands never just stay still. The prefect crew can be a bit on the stressful side with all that they do *cough* talkin bout you Zeus *cough* or even if she’s doing something for the ministry; she’s just the daughter of the boss is all, ya know no pressure right? She’d probably wear a few as aside from being really cute, they can keep her hand fidgeting to a minimum

Blowing things up: This is the glitter queen after all; though don’t worry it won’t be around the academy, don’t need to get in any trouble again :). Definitely refers to these times as field testing and it just helps her decompress; it’s like a rage room, but it’s just an open field with her doing target practice with her glitter bombs

Napping with animals: She definitely needs sleep. Especially if she’s been running on just an absurd amount of coffee and whatever easy foods she’s been eating. Aside from having Rufus with her, she will… “borrow” her friends’ familiars as well (that includes you niddhog). She really likes napping in the north valley or even a nice quiet area near the lake; though there might have been a few times she’s fallen asleep on the academy rooftop. It’s kind of like having a weighted blanket, but you can cuddle them

Akemi:

Eating/Less eating: It’s common to see the night classes little sunshine eating snacks or fruit since she gotta keep her strength up (especially after using her magic). Generally she’s always happy, but in the moments where she’s feeling kind of down or if she stresses that she thinks she might have upset someone she would probably eat more often throughout the day or even possibly eat less/skip meals

Cuddles/Affection: The top thing that will make her feel happy again is getting hugs or just snuggling will do the trick. It’s a common sight to see mainly either Viggo or Zeus carrying a sleeping Akemi in one arm

Lip biting: Generally this one she does absentmindedly as usually it’s more noticeable of being due to stress or anxiety when it looks like her bottom lip looks all busted and chapped.

Fay:

Reading: Seldom does she feel stressed, Fay is one of the calmest individuals you’ll ever have met. As when she is feeling a little stressed she’ll read one of her favorite books, maybe one of the ones that are more on the light hearted side.

Journaling: This is probably the main thing that has kept her stresses/anxieties to a minimum since she’s been doing this for so long. Fay doesn’t speak with many of the other night class students so it’s easier/simpler for her to write things downs (but also there isn’t concern of anyone telling others her business)

Genova:

She’s very shy and will keep to her own little area of the house.

One of the easiest people to live with as she has a good ethic of taking turns with chores or getting whatever is needed for the house. 

There’s a place in/on the house that has a good view of the night sky, let her star gaze, she’ll go on and on about constellations and whatever facts she knows. 

Her room isn’t a complete disaster, but it isn’t entirely clean either. There’s something about the in between that makes her feel comfortable; it’s not a complete mess enough to freak out about looking like a slob or too clean enough to where someone would think of her as a germaphobe.

Aphrodite:

Don’t be surprised when the house is a little on the lavish side.

She’s a party girl so expect her to plan lots of house parties, or expect her to be coming back late from parties.

She’s not allowed to cook… Just no. She’ll clean but, don’t be surprised when she complains a bit. BUT she will do the laundry; she’s very meticulous about how clothes are washed & dried.

Her room is pretty organized especially with all her fabrics and tools, again very lavish.

Lizzy:

The house is usually always clean and always has fresh flowers around the house. The house is safe from her experiments, but she has a little testing setup in the backyard.

Her room is fairly clean… Except for her work desk area. Surprised? Probably not, it’s mainly covered in glitter. Also expect her to have animals/magical creatures hanging around the room with her.

If she’s home first there’s always going to be a home cooked meal ready. As usually it’ll always be lively one way or another.

Fay:

The house is going to always be in order and nothing is out of place; there is a whole board for schedules of who’s doing what for each day.

Fay is pretty ocd, especially when it comes to her room because of all of her books she has specifically organized alphabetically by authors’ last names; so she will know if anyone didn’t put a book back correctly.

She’s very into having intellectual conversations especially over tea, she’s always interested to hear someone else's opinion on something and it can go on for hours.

She can be easy to live with for the most part, but if there’s a housemate that’s Zeus or someone like Zeus it won’t be much of a surprise if the house is filled with lots of bickering/arguing. 

Akemi:

There will never be a shortage of food in the household.

Whoever is living with her is always going to be greeted at any time of the day with hugs and cuddles.

Don’t leave her in charge of cleaning, not that she’s bad… She just can’t reach many places with her height and her antlers might get stuck, but do allow her to cook; baby bean will be so happy.

It seems no matter how many times she cleans up in her own room it just seems to get messy all over again.

Kaiser:

She’s often out/away because of work so it’s easy to forget sometimes she lives in the house.

When she is home she keeps to herself and depending on who she’s living with or what group of ppl, she might be a bit nicer (or in the case Vincent/someone like Vincent is one of the housemates she’s going to be constantly fighting him/them up for annoying her).

Honestly it’s like living with a rescue cat who you can’t tell if they like you or is mentally planning your death.

A multitude of spells were flying as the group of prefects were trying to fend off a quite large group of creatures. “Werewolves I can understand showing up out of the blue,” Caesar started to shout while shooting out another fire spell. “But why the hell are there giant spiders here!? No one told me spiders could get this big,” Zeus cut in shouting. Lucious was using dark magic as he let out an annoyed huff while listening to them complaining. “Oh yeah the werewolves and giant spiders are the biggest concern! It’s not like there’s a WHOLE minotaur among them,” Lucious yelled at the two. 

Lizzy was running as the minotaur was chasing behind her as she shouted, “The glitter bombs didn’t work, it only made him more pissed!” “Run over to us, we’re going to try and attack it at once,” Alfonse called out to Lizzy while Elias, Yukiya, and Luca stood together. Quick to change course making her way over to them in which once she reached them she slid under Alfonse's legs. Once with a clear shot the boys unleashed four attacks at the same time sending the minotaur backwards with a loud thud sound. 

“Ha take that,” Luca shouted excitedly with a large grin.

“Luca it’s getting back up,”

“Ah shit, this bites,” he said, shoulders dropping as the small group watched as the bull-like creature was getting up again.

Without warning a large tide of water came out of nowhere and swept a couple of werewolves and spiders away. Then a couple of other spells hit a couple more of the attacking creatures. “What are you all doing out here?! You three should be inside the academy it isn’t safe,” Elias shouted in a stern manner as there were three female day class students. “That’s what I-I tried to tell Dite but she wouldn’t listen,” A girl who had short muted purple hair with a long low ponytail in the back and light coral colored eyes called back as a black wolf stood by her. “Now, now Lias don’t worry your pretty little head off! Besides how are we going to show off to the night class what the day class is made of, especially us ladies,” the girl next to her spoke confidently; medium wavy hair that was silver but more towards the bottom was pink and brownish pink eyes. “If anything we’ll buy you guys time to make sure everyone gets inside safely,” the third student was holding a long golden trident with medium straight teal hair with a couple of strands of hair in front that were two different colors and slate blue eyes.

Seeing that the prefects took our offer they started to fend off the werewolves and spiders that were going after the other students. Letting out a small sigh I twirled my trident before holding it properly in my hand pointing it at the creatures before me. “Aquarum voragine,” I shouted as the trident formed water as in the distance water collected and shot up into the air moving like a tornado which some of the werewolves got caught inside. Moving my trident the vortex of water would follow the movement hitting more. “This’ll be no problem at this rate,” I muttered to myself but then when I heard the sudden close sound of growling I looked to my left to see a werewolf lunging towards me, holding the trident with both hands I blocked its claws and pushed it back. “Acies aqua,” I quickly chanted another spell, blades of water slicing the creature as it let out a whimpering sound.

My whole body was trembling, I still can’t believe I let Aphrodite talk me into this crazy plan! But… She wasn’t wrong; aside from wanting to help keep the others safe, some of the prefects are our friends and even they need to be protected at times too! “These spiders really aren’t giving any room for anyone to try and attack,” I said to myself as I continued to dodge out of the way of webs the spiders were spitting my way. Catching my breath I closed my eyes for a moment and just breathed to calm myself down; now isn’t the time to be acting like a coward Genova! I brought my hands closer to my face kissing the rings on both my index fingers and then taking a fighting stance as my iron claws appeared on my hands. “Now you’re looking more like a wolf,” I glanced over to see my familiar before glancing back to the spiders. I’ll be putting myself at a greater risk of getting hurt, but it’ll be harder for them to shoot their webs if we’re fighting close. “Right, let’s go Bane,” I shouted running head on, continuing to dodge the webs or swing my hand down as it would create blades of wind to cut through them. When close enough was when I started to lash out and send out attacks of claws of wind. I’m sorry spiders, but I have people I need to protect!

Dodging between the spiders webs and the lunge attacks from the werewolves were becoming super tiring. “Are you really sure this was such a great idea,” I heard my familiar ask from my shoulder as I was too busy keeping an eye out for the creatures and sent out countless spells to keep them back. “Absolutely my dear Sheba,” I said with a small grin; I may not be as skilled in fighting like Genova or Vivievianna, but I was still confident in my magic! “But I will admit the sheer numbers of the creatures are wearing me out a bit and if I break a nail because of these gross beasts I’ll be mad,” I said while castes another spell making spikes of earth to grow from the ground. “But not only that I stay true to what I said earlier, as not only for the night class to see, but for the rest of the day class to see what we’re capable of,” I said passionately as I really do hate not being taken seriously. While fighting I couldn’t help but continue to feel concerned about the minotaur, it’s been a while since I last saw it and if we’re not careful it could easily take us out. A chill violently went down my spine when I heard the loud and heavy running footsteps, looking around I needed to figure out where it was coming from. Turning to look back over to where Genova was my eyes grew in fear as it was going to attack her!

Flying on the back of the wyvern I was approaching the academy as scanning down below it wasn’t hard to spot the battle going on below. “Kaiser, Kaiser do you copy,” I heard my communicator go off hearing Klaus’ voice, how annoying. Letting out a small groan I rolled my eyes before replying “Yes your uptightness I copy.” “I’ll just pretend I didn’t hear that, what’s your position,” he asked as I gritted my teeth when I had eyes on the Minotaur as it attacked a student. “I’m already at the academy, I’ll have to talk to you later,” I said, cutting communications giving the wyvern directions to fly down. “Milady did that student just-” I heard Fang say from my neck as much to my bewilderment as the girl who got hit by the creature to ash. “Turn to ash… Yeah,” I confirmed what he saw as there was no way a minotaur could have done that, but I wasn’t going to worry about that.

“Alright Fang you know the drill,” I said, removing Fang from my neck and onto the wyvern’s head. “You and our little friend here take out the rest of the werewolves and spiders,” I gave them their orders as I swung one leg over before jumping off free falling above the magical creature. Holding my right arm and my tattoo began to glow as I loudly chanted, “Poroboros Nox!” The purplish black balls of magic went falling down around the minotaur before blowing up. Smirking at the sound of the creature crying out I felt myself land on the creature, pushing off of it and landing on the ground safely. “Become thy blade, ferrum tenebris,” I chanted the shortened spell as both arms the same purplish black particles formed until they took shape into long blades. Hearing the loud screeching sound of Fang I glanced over and grinned seeing him bigger easily disposing of the lingering creatures. The loud roar that came from the creature before me, I turned my attention back to him. I watched as he scuffed his hooves against the dirt.

Falling down with a hard thud the Minotaur was defeated as the long dark haired woman dusted her hands off. The prefects rushed back over as the long battle was finally over as well as the girls who helped. “Though your uniform is slightly different, you wouldn’t happen to be with the Ministry would you,” Alfonse asked curiously with his hand to his chin. Picking up her once again small familiar, Kaiser picked him up and placed him back around her neck. “Yes, I’m Kaiser; I’m the Ministry’s black magic specialist,” she answered in a cold manner. Lizzy and the other prefects took turns introducing themselves before it was the students turns.

“I’m Vivievianna Ariella,” the girl with the trident spoke first in a very neutral tone. The girl who was smiling and had a ferret-like creature on her shoulder chimed in next “I’m Aphrodite Dolloway and this is my familiar Sheba!” “Hey... What happened to the purple haired girl,” Hiro asked as he saw the wolf that was with the girl, but it was when from behind Aphrodite a younger version of the muted purple haired girl came out wearing a simple white silk dress. “I-I’m right here… I’m uh Genova Merkulova,” she shyly introduced herself before now hugging the black wolf. “As this is my familiar Bane,” she added shortly after.

It was the weekend as I was out by the lake so I could enjoy the beautiful day while doing my homework while Bane laid down beside me. Writing in my notebook I’d look over at my text book now and again to look for the answers. “Please tell me you don’t plan on just sitting here all day,” I heard Bane say as I could only giggle while looking down and finishing writing another answer. “You’re more than welcome to go walk around if you’re bored,” I replied, not looking up from the page. “....No, I’m comfortable,” he grumpily answered, knowing that even though he sounded that way, he really wasn’t. Turning the page so I could write on the back I slightly jumped when Bane suddenly took my notebook away. “H-Hey! Bane give me my notebook back please,” I told him as he walked a few feet away and dropped the notebook out of his mouth letting it fall on the grass.

“You’ll end up giving yourself a paper cut if you mindlessly space out while doing your work,” he lectured me while I puffed my cheeks out at him, but I couldn’t help it but smile; he really is always looking out for me. “Haha I guess you’re not wrong. Thanks Bane,” I said giving him a soft smile, watching him walk over to me and proceeded to sit on my legs in a poised manner as he looked at me with his red eyes. Blinking a little I giggled, he can act like such a puppy sometimes even when he’s acting mean. Running my hands through his charcoal black fur I proceeded to scratch under his jaw and lightly rub my nose against his. “You’re such a good boy,” I said, I really was lucky to have met him years ago. “Hm whatever you say,” he said sounding unhappy as usual though I could clearly see how his tail was wagging softly.

It was when Bane started sniffing the air and starting to growl I could only assume it was because he smelled his brother close by. “That good for nothing mutt is around here,” Bane growled out in disgust. Softly frowning it was kind of sad to see that he wasn’t happy to be able to see his brother again; even if neither of them got along I still wished that Bane would tell me why he hated his brother. Getting off from my lap Bane started to walk away heading towards the forest. Seeing Yukiya and Seth coming over to this way I glanced back over to where Bane was before asked, “Aren’t you going to stay and at least say hello?”  “No, I have no need to speak or greet anyone. I shall be back later; do see to it that you stay out of trouble,” I heard him say before he went off on his own.

“Hello and good afternoon Genova,” I heard Yukiya’s voice as I looked over to smile and wave to my friend. “Hello and good afternoon to you too Yukiya! Hello Seth I hope you’ve been well,” I greeted Yukiya before looking over to Seth to greet him as well; however the gray wolf just seemed to roll his eyes and look away from me. Letting out a small sigh I tried to not take it personally, those two really are alike in a lot of ways. “Mind if I sit with you,” He asked, quickly I nodded in a yes manner. “Of course, you’re always more than welcome to sit with me,” I said cheerfully. I really enjoyed his company a lot of the time, he may not talk a lot of the time but I still have fun hanging out with him. Not only that he’s just so sweet, how could I not catch some feelings for him. We talked about our days so far and even discussed some of the assignments we had to do. 

I watched when Seth started to get up from laying around, he must be planning to go off on his own too. It seemed like Yukiya wasn’t going to really question him but he did bid his familiar farewell. Softly biting my bottom lip, even though I wouldn’t be able to understand Seth I still wanted to talk to him. “Hey Seth… I know you don’t exactly like me, and that you’re not on talking terms with Bane… But I’d really like it if we could become friends at some point,” I said while watching him walking by in his calm and cold manner. 

~~~ Yukiya’s POV ~~~

I looked over at Genova with soft eyes as she’s been determined to try and get closer with Seth despite his rudeness. The sound of him growling gave me a very unsettling feeling. Seth came to a stop as before I knew it in a blink of an eye he was right in front of her, biting down on her wrist as blood was spilling from the bite wounds. “Seth stop,” I shouted angrily in a panic. Hearing her yelp made me feel so bad as my eyes widened at the site of her completely turning to ash in front of me. “G-Genova,” I called out her name slowly, feeling as if my heart just stopped; I was used to seeing her in her child form, but never have I witnessed this part. “Stupid sheep, maybe next time she’ll know to leave me alone,” I heard Seth scoff as I looked at him with a narrow look. “That was uncalled for! She did nothing wrong, she’s been nothing but nice to you,” I sternly lectured him. Soon enough I saw Genova again as she looked like she was five and her muted purple hair wasn’t in its low ponytail any more and had the familiar silk white dress.

“I-i’m sorry,” I heard her slightly more squeaky voice say followed by a couple of sniffles. “I-I didn’t mean to-to upset you Seth,” she apologized while big tears started to roll down her cheeks. Getting up from my seat I quickly went to Genova as I saw that look in his eyes again and I scooped her up into my arms and held her so Seth couldn’t try to hurt her again. “This isn’t worth my time,” I heard him say before walking off to go who knows where. Quick to snap out of my thoughts I look at her, moving my free hand to clear the continuous tears that fell. “Hey please don’t cry Nova, you did nothing wrong,” I spoke softly and sweetly when she looked up at me with her round light coral colored eyes. “B-But-” she was stuttering until I cut her off before she could blame herself for what happened. “It’s not your fault. How are you feeling, are you in any pain,” I asked but when looking at the spot Seth bit her, there were no traces of her having been injured though it didn’t help the aching pain in my chest.

Getting a great idea I gave her a smile and started to walk as I said, “How about we go see the winged-rabbits, I know how much they love playing with you.” Getting to see her eyes light up I couldn’t help but chuckle while making my way to the north valley. Upon arriving the winged-rabbits were already coming out and flying around us, setting Genova down she was swarmed with the cute pink creatures. Sitting down close by I watched young Genova run around with the winged-rabbits as her laughter filled the air. Sometime had passed until Genova sat down and the two of us were making flower crowns with the small blue flowers. Finishing up the one I made for her I glanced over to her. “I finished up your flower crown,” I said out loud as she seemed to look over with excitement as it seemed she finished hers. 

“Yay,” she cheerfully said getting up and running over as when she was getting closer I noticed her trip. “Waaa,” she yelped as I leaned forward and held out my arms to catch her but then my vision was filled with white smoke. When it cleared my eye met with her light coral ones, she was back to normal as she really did look even more beautiful with the longer part of her muted purple hair loose from its low ponytail. “A-Ah i’m sorry Yukiya,” she was quick to apologize and pull away for her to sit on her knees and sightly looking away though her reddening face was still visible. “It’s perfectly fine, you’re not hurt right,” I asked as she shook her head in a no manner, that’s a relief.

“Oh here you go,” I said, picking up the flower crown off my lap before reaching over and placing it on top of her head. “It looks great, i love it! Oh here’s your’s,” she said happily leaning and placing the one she made on top of my head before sitting again. “Thanks,” I thanked her with a smile having that familiar fuzzy feeling in my chest. Once again there was a silence between us. “Hey Yukiya,” I suddenly heard my name be called, looking over to where she was staring down at her lap while her bangs fell over her face.

“Yes?”

“...Thank you.”

“There’s no need to thank me, you’re important to me,” I said as my eyes widened when she looked over at me so quickly. 

“There is! I know I get help from our other friends too but… I always feel like they get so annoyed with how much they have to keep an eye on me,” she said, hearing her voice her thoughts made me frown but I kept quiet to listen to her continue. “I hate that no matter how capable I am, it still isn’t enough to protect myself and it can be the littlest and stupidest of things that trigger my curse! I hate it, I hate myself!” Feeling my heart breaking I acted on instinct and moved closer while taking off my eye patch before putting my hands on both her arms. “Nova I don’t know the pain you go through, but I can only imagine how much it hurts… And it isn’t easy, but you-you are one of the strongest girls I know here,” I said only feeling that aching feeling grow; I just wished she wasn’t so hard on herself.

“I don’t feel strong. And to be honest I really think about this a lot; the thought that after here I won’t be able to make anything of myself,” she replied back as tears started to roll down her face. “Not only that, how can I ever imagine having a husband or even a family for that matter?! Who-Who wants to love a woman who turns into a kid after she gets hurt huh… This curse has taken so much from me before I can even have the chance to experience any of it,” she finished talking, sobbing. The next thing I did was all that I could think of doing; carefully pulling her to me and holding her in my arms and running my hand through her soft hair. “You haven’t lost any of that and I can understand that those kinds of thoughts scare you, but I know one thing for sure is that despite your curse I for one love you,” I said finally confessing my feelings for her.

She pulled away from me some as her face was red and her eyes were slightly puffy. “W-Wait! You-You love… Me,” she stuttered to get her words out in a shocked manner. Still giving her a soft smile I nod my head in a yes manner as I reached a hand out to clear the tears away. “I do, I love you for who you are; your brave side, or your clumsy side, I love all of you and I want to protect you. But not only that, one day I want to help you break this curse,” I told her, which I got startled when she started to cry again, but I relaxed shortly after when I saw there was a smile on her face. “That makes me… S-So happy to hear! I-I was always so scared that you wouldn’t feel the same if I ever found the courage to actually tell you how I felt myself,” she said wiping her own tears away with her hands, getting to see her smile like that melting my heart. Cupping her face in my hands I rested my forehead against hers. “Well you don’t have to be scared anymore,” I whispered to her before leaning in close to softly kiss her lips.

~~~ Few Days Later ~~~

I was making my way to my usual spot at the lake as I was just completely over the day. “Can this day just be over please,” I said out loud to no one in particular as I tossed my bag to the side not really caring where it landed. Pushing my ponytail off from my shoulder I took off my cloak before I plopped down onto the grass and just lay on my back. Letting out a groan I crossed my arms over my eyes trying to get all of my stresses from today out. “Maĭnata mi na zhivota,” I cursed now just feeling my arms tremble and the tears starting to fall. It was just one of those days that just seemed to be against me as not only that, not once but TWICE did I get hurt and turn into a kid; needless to say I just wanted to hide from the world.

While slowly breathing in and out to calm myself down I suddenly felt a paw on me, Bane must have found me. It was silent as he didn’t say anything which was slightly odd, but then I felt what I thought was Bane lay on me; wait a might… Bane isn’t this light. Raising an eyebrow in confusion what could be laying on me I moved my arms off my eyes so I could see as I froze when I saw it was actually Seth. “U-Uhh.. Hi Seth,” I hesitantly greeted my boyfriend’s familiar as this was certainly a different behavior he’s ever shown and I couldn’t help but be the slightest bit worried after what happened the other day. I heard him let out a soft bark and moved now resting his head on my chest. Blinking a couple of times I softly smiled and giggled, maybe this was his way of apologizing. Moving my arms to hug him I petted his head gently as I said, “Thank you Seth, I really appreciate it.” He didn’t react or respond in any way, he just laid there and closed his eyes. Feeling myself grow tired myself I found myself dozing off peacefully.

~~~ Yukiya POV ~~~

I was around through the courtyard in search of Genova as it being lunch meant I could spend some time with her, but when I went to pick her up from her class she wasn’t there. Azusa had told me she rushed out as soon as the bell rang and what happened during classes. Knowing her, she’d be most likely at the lake though while walking I came across Bane. “Hello there, you’re searching for Genova too right,” I said as he briefly stopped and looked at me with his red eyes. He gave a small nod instead of saying anything and started to walk again in which I followed since we both were more likely heading to the same place. 

“Gah! What are with these guys?! Better yet, who are these guys anyway,” Zeus had shouted angrily after recovering from getting hit by one of the spells. The small group of men were dressed in soldiers like uniforms that were glacier blue with accents of gold. “How about we worry about who they are later Zeus, we can’t let them get into the academy,” Lizzy said while helping Lucious sit up. The last three soldiers walked closer with their staffs at ready, seeming to stop a distance away from the group of prefects and deputies. “This is your last chance, step aside now or we will force our way in,” one of them shouted, giving the last warning. 

The group was now standing once again preparing themselves for the oncoming attack until something strange happened. Suddenly there was mist that started to roll in around the soldiers who seemed to have been confused as to what was happening, then the mist started to take shape into a large hand and slammed down onto the soldiers. “Just when I thought today was going to be boring, you dumb-asses are in for it now,” the aggressive sounding person was none other than Viggo appeared with a grin on his face as he had his pipe like wand in hand already which seeing the delinquent of the night class was a surprise of its own, but surprisingly he wasn’t alone; in fact he was with two girls that were dressed in night class uniforms as well. The shorter girl had short rose goldish hair with a small pair of deer antlers protruding from her head along with big round onyx black eyes and the taller girl to the left had extremely long sage green hair though her eyes were hidden behind a short veil of cloth. “You misters are in big trouble now,” the shorter girl said in a lively yet cute voice while pointing an accusing finger at the invading soldiers.

“I do hope you know you’re breaking several laws and regulations by storming in here,” the tall girl said in a modulated tone whilst taking a step forward. Changing targets, the soldiers took aim at the three students and attacked.

Deflecting another spell I let out a small huff as these soldiers really were quite tough but it would take a lot more to get me down. “What’s a little thing like you going to do huh,” the soldier taunted in which I responded with a small scoff at the man’s insult. 

I felt my nails grow sharper while I brought my right hand up to my mouth, glaring at the soldier. “Just watch me,” I said, giving a toothy smirk before biting down onto my palm enough to draw blood before removing my hand. “Sagitta sanguine,” I recited the spell in which the blood that seeps from my wound started to float into the air and clustered together making arrows as they shot through the air. 

Deciding it’d be best not to let this battle drag on too long I focused my magic on forming my blood into a long whip. “Playtime is over,” I said, cracking the newly formed whip towards the ground before bringing my arm back and swinging it forward to give the whip momentum to lash forward. Having aimed for the man’s legs the whip successfully wrapped around one of his legs and latched on in which with a fluid pulling motion the soldier went falling on to his back with a thud sound.

Typically any other time I’m opposed to senseless fighting, but this I will not tolerate in which I reach up to my headpiece carefully removing it from my face slowly to soon reveal my creamsicle orange colored eyes. “You kids are in over your head, if you step down now we might just let you leave with your lives,” the soldier said as I could only look at the man in disgust, with that eye contact I was able to foresee what he feared. “For a man of your age and commanding position, you’re quite the insolent ignoramus to believe we’d simply just oblige,” I started to speak harshly before bringing my hand up to the air using my index and middle finger to draw symbols. 

“Ame no iwatowo oshihirakite ameno yaegumo wo,” I chanted while further drawing the symbols at a moderate pace; however, before I had the chance to finish a gust of icy wind interrupted the spell causing me to get knocked back some. Just feeling the chilled winds made my body tremble, it almost felt like I was submerged into freezing cold water. Attempting to shake off that chilled to the bone feeling I brushed my hair off of my shoulder and stuck out my hand to continue fighting back. Starting to smirk I said in an amusing manner “You know, there’s an old saying where I come from; live scorpions in the pants make life interesting.”

It was clear I managed to confuse him which seemed to have distracted him from the fact that more and more scorpions were appearing on the ground and on him in which one even appeared on my left arm. Five… Four… Three I mentally counted backwards to see how long it took as shortly after getting to three was when he screamed in terror and began to flail about trying to shake them off. Snickering at the soldier’s poor endeavor to rid of the scorpions, I turned my attention to the fairly big scorpion crawling on my arm in which I’d slowly move it to guide the beauty seeing to it I handled her with care. Still admiring the scorpion on my hand I brought it closer to eye level starting to smile as the man’s screams didn’t cease in which I said in a matter of fact tone “One of the most fascinating things about these arachnids is that compared to all the other arthropods, scorpions have the longest lifespans; in the wilderness they can live up to two to ten years.”

The fight didn’t last much longer as the soldiers collected their fallen comrades and retreated disappearing into a cloud of haze. The three regrouped and seem to have a small celebration which was short lived when an angry Zeus started storming over shouting, “Are you three stupid or something?!” Of course there was an instant reply from Viggo who shouted back “I know you’re not the one calling us stupid! We just save your sorry asses!” Which it seemed Viggo shoved his hands into his pockets aggressively before going off to who knows where muttering to himself. Letting out a sigh the tall girl was placing her headpiece back in its original spot before crossing her arms over her chest before chiming in “For once would you refrain from shouting like a screeching wyvern Zeus.” Zeus glared at the green haired student getting ready to speak his mind but was cut off. 

“ZEUS,” the shortest of the students happily called out while running at top speed. It seemed the angry expression the night class prefect had seemed to falter as it turned to a grin, catching the rose haired girl and lifting her up before engulfing her into a bear hug. “There’s my favorite person,” Zeus declared loudly as it was hard to stay mad at such an adorable human being which caused her to giggle, setting her down after a couple of minutes. “Hey are you guys alright,” Lizzy asked as she skid to stop from jogging over. 

“Yes we’re quite alright thank you for your concern,” the sage haired girl said with an elegant smile slightly bowing her head. “Hey new friends to make. Thanks again for saving us back there,” Caesar said in a chipper manner as he and the rest of the prefects joined the group. “Hiya! I’m Akemi Yukimura. I hope we can all be great friends,” the short one rocked back and forth on her feet while giving a big toothy smile which of course caused Lizzy and a few others to just melt a bit from the adorableness. “I’m Fay Junix, it’s delightful to meet you all,” the tall girl introduced herself before folding her hands on one another properly in front before formally bowing her upper body and then standing properly. 

After Lizzy and the rest of the group introduced themselves which of course wouldn’t be a proper initiation of friendship until Akemi gleefully gave each of the day class prefects hugs. “So we’re just not going to talk about what just happened a while ago,” Hiro brought up in his usual lazy tone which it seemed the majority seemed silent from not being sure what to make of this. “From what I’ve read from current events that’ve been appearing in the papers is that Graceus is having problems with Gedonelune as to exactly what the leading conflict is due to hasn’t been stated. But I can only imagine that from the uniforms of those soldiers, they’re part of the Graceus royal army,” Fay said, being the one to break the silence.
