Mazzi’s Sicilian restaurant for dinner w/wine, Italian cremosas, my beautiful small beet salad & cup of minestrone soup w/an “extra” calzone to share. Sadly, no food photos.

Mason’s delicious fresh ravioli w/spinach, ricotta & pesto, plus 4 rolls was on the light side for him, lucky he got 2/3rds of the calzone to fill up. Silas demolished an entire pizza & loved it.

Since this was our 1st dinner there together in at least a decade, I offered to get them t-shirts. Then off to MoC for bulk candy, which is one of Silas’ favorite things to shop for.

Why does he insist on working on his car in front of my house every week when he has a perfectly good, shaded empty driveway 4 cars up next door?

Tomorrow is trash day so might as well fill it up with the old winter food. Every summer, my freezer gets so frosted up, I have to turn it off overnight just to open the door & defrost enough to get the stuff out. Bottom layer on the 3rd shelf is still completely frozen together.

His lettuces were so beautiful & salads so pure with all the homemade dressings, made me want to avoid the Taylor salad bags, iceburg lettuce, Taco Bell & parasites forever.

Heeee! The Halloween baby ones are 2.5" that I can put back into a 13-day advent calendar. I doubt I'm going to give any of these away bc I love Halloween too much.

They each had their own pound of candy to nosh on the way home with cheese, crackers, summer sausage, Hoody’s Peanut Butter trail mix & yogurt.

Even on the hottest days, I’ve been able to get the house down to 74-degrees within a few hours.

Today I left my only ac unit on in the bedroom all day with 6 fans pulling cool air from my open bedroom door through the hallway to the living room & kitchen, as usual.

Temp hasn’t dropped below 78 in the house all evening. My room is maintaining 69 degrees w/unit running, but too noisy to sleep.

I think I'll just order some groceries first. Hmmm? I haven't even finished my morning coffee yet. Then my dishes & some tidying.

Another person to rub my back would just be blissful right now. And distract me tf off my neighbors.

Didn’t get a lot accomplished today due to a much needed “do nothing” day.

Did wash the dishes, ordered all of grandbaby girl’s 7th birthday presents & her brother’s UN- birthday gifties, as well.

Texted w/my boy, talked to my mom & made plans for a sleepover w/my visiting grands for tomorrow night.

Now we’re up past 4 am after realizing the older nextdoor neighbor who was always on her porch smoking in her bathrobe passed away on the 4th of July.

My adorable Squishmallows fruit/flower bouquet arrived! It comes with detachable 2 1/2" monkey banana, kitty strawberry & bat blueberry. I cannot love them more!

I need to clear off an entire little tiered corner shelf on my desk for this arrangement & a few other collectibles that cheer up my day in the office.

I have four 5" dragon Squishmallows to give as prizes & ordered five 2.5" different little animals I think the kidlets will be excited about.

Got his driver’s permit at 15 last week, time to start working on his pilot’s license 😆

Kids have been fighting over the one Squishmallows pillow that was donated & staff had to take it away. I found some micros & minis on sale for prizes for the kids, including a fruit bouquet (not on sale) for office "decor." It has removeable banana, strawberry & blueberry micro (2 1/2") Squishmallows for the office visitors (me) to adore.

I also got a set of 4 mini (5") Squishmallows dragons & a 4 pack of Halloween minis, as well. The reversible 8" capybara/jam was only $5.40, but I think I'm going to save that for a birthday.
