So I’m out buying a couple bags of dog food, cause my usual monthly order wasn’t in yet, and didn’t realize how low I got… Anyway, while in the checkout lane, a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. I mean, I do, I have 3, but why else would someone buy it? So, on impulse, I told her, “No, I don’t have a dog, I’m starting the dog food diet again. I probably shouldn’t since the last time I ended up in the hospital” I could not stop after seeing the look on her face, so I continued, “I lost 50 pounds before I woke up in intensive care with tubes coming out of orifices and IVs in both arms” I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet, “You fill your pockets with nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry.” I should add that practically everyone around was enthralled with my story. Horrified, this woman asked if I ended up in the ICU because the dog food poisoned me, I told her “No, I stepped off a curb to sniff a poodle’s butt and a car hit me.” I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack because he was laughing so hard. Anyway, how was everyone else’s day?
