Eito could feel his double staring daggers into him. Of course, this scene, even from his obscured position, was likely tantamount to blasphemy. Him, leaving himself open to the touch of the one who violated him in so many ways.
The smell and the sensation of the touch were making him nauseous. Perhaps the drugs last night had dulled that reaction?
Regardless, he'd persevere. Though he perhaps needed to provide some explanation.
"My body has been... marked. In a particular way that is likely different from you and other versions of us," he explained, not raising his voice too much so as not to further disturb Takumi. He used his free hand to rub Takumi's arm and shoulder soothingly, after zipping up his jacket again.
It wasn't a lie, in multiple senses. The collar, of course, could be interpreted as a "mark" of sorts. To say nothing of the carnage Takumi himself had wrought on his chest and collarbones. But beyond that, his thoughts immediately drifted to the horrendous scar on his chest from when those idiotic scientists' experiments permanently damaged his heart, and they had to fix that mistake. One of many upon his defective, broken body.
And of course, the self-cannibalizing curse snaking its way up his arm, likely to begin blooming elsewhere on his body with time.
He turned his attention back to the whimpering Takumi, "I know, I know it hurts. Darumi will be here soon, we'll have her get you something for these abrasions. In the meantime, I'm going to come into the cage, and-"
The door to the Courtyard slammed open and shut, the lock clicking in place as a winded new arrival appeared. Eito's eyes widened a bit in surprise to see Darumi running in - completely out of breath - with what looked like a bag of medical supplies. How did she...?
His heart sinks at the realization. They've been being watched this whole time.
"Hey- hey, Eito...! I'm-! I'm here...! We... we got hella problems!" Darumi pants, stopping a moment to catch her breath a few feet away from the other timeline's Eito. She glances over at him, seeming FAR less surprised than one would assume she should be. She raises a hand in greeting, uttering out a chirpy, yet awkward, "Uhhhh... Hi there! You the... weird monster Eito? Or the annoying one? Agh! Doesn't matter!"
She makes a beeline for the lock on Takumi's cage, produces some kind of large knife or machete, and uses it to bust the lock off. Opening and closing the door behind her, she approaches Takumi carefully.
"Heya Ta~ku~mi~! Your bestie Da~ru~mi is heeeeere!" She has her usual manic tone, but it's definitely more subdued, almost calming, than usual, "C'mere! Lemme try to make you all better~! I'm getting reeeaaaal good at this now..."
Darumi gently pulls Takumi away from Eito amidst whimpered protests, though he quickly latches onto her instead. She opens the medical pack, and begins working on cleaning and patching up his wounds, telling him exactly what she was doing, and gently warning when something might sting or hurt.
Eito remembered expressing surprise and complimenting her on her first aid on the last expedition. Had she been studying more since then...?
"Darumi knows... more or less what's going on. She won't tell anyone you were here," he assures the other Eito, before turning his attention back to the shattered doll of a girl administering medical care, "If... You knew to bring medical supplies, I can only assume...?"
"I... see," he exhales, "That... Well. Good thing we prepared."
