Dunno I didn’t really enjoy TADC episode 9. It felt really badly written and paced for a final episode.
Spoilers below, I’m going to be a bit critical here so just don’t engage if you don’t want to:
So the entire first scene was wayyy to short, why does Kinger immediately tell them all they’re brainscans and how is Jax the only one to have a appropriate reaction to that by getting angry (and abstracting).
Zoobles dialogue sucks, they don’t even have their personality anymore it just sounds like they’re a therapist or something (although this was a problem awhile back for them). Where did the angry, rebellious side of them go? Why aren’t they mad that they’re a brainscan and their real self is out in the world?
Gangle again is sidelined and only has a couple of scenes, one of which I had to skip over because it was so embarrassing to watch and literally sexual harassment.
Abstragedy was in the ending credits, which was definitely an appeal to the fans. I get it but can shows not appeal to fandom anymore? The only time I enjoyed when a show included its fanbase was with Gravity Falls and that was because it was supplementary codes that added to the lore, and a fun manhunt, not the fanbase adding stuff and the show putting it in.
Ragatha…gets nothing, again. Weird hug scene between her and Pomni which just felt really off and poorly executed.
Pomni is literally just the “I have to be nice to everyone and save everyone” person she has zero personality anymore. No anger, no sarcasm in her dialogue. She and Zooble don’t sound like real characters anymore. She helps Jax and that’s it.
Jax…. I don’t even know what to say about her. She is the main aspect of this episode with her backstory and everything. I understand why she pushed everyone away from her, although I didn’t really enjoy how that part of the episode was written. I know when you become closed off and angry you hurt other people, but Jax opened up to Ribbit completely and Ribbit accepted her openly. Maybe I’m not Jax but I wouldn’t have pushed her away at all. I don’t know how to feel about Jax’s character it’s pretty complex and I don’t think the writer did a good job portraying how complex Jax is.
If they really wanted to make this show about Jax, make her the main character. There’s no need for Pomni if Jax is supposed to be the focus.
And Caine, well I did like his character in the previous episodes and was really happy to see that he lived. But I don’t really like how he could have survived? I thought Kinger permanently deleted him from the computer in episode 8? Well either way, he’s back and I guess is forgiven immediately by the group after literally lobotomizing himself. Ripping out the blue AI shouldn’t have been possible, and that blue AI being the unreasonable part of himself doesn’t make any sense when we see that the red AI was the one who consumed the blue one out of anger.
Anyways, not a great episode. I enjoyed the first couple episodes of the show but not the last bunch.

Dunno why I have to say this but I will never support any use of generative AI in the slightest. If you use it to “create” or “touch up” your art, you are not an artist. Generative AI harms the environment and steals thousands of art from actual artists who did not consent to their art being used. Again, I will never support generative AI in any form.
Remade this old Deltarune OC I had because I kinda liked his design.
His name is Clef! Still figuring out his lore, what I’ve got so far is that he’s from chapter 3 and helps Tenna as a camera man and helps the Mike’s out but also is originally apart of the rhythm minigame (his on-set form).
I need to redraw/remake this guy. I love the idea I had for him previous where he was a darker from Chapter 2 (not Chapter 3 cause it wouldn’t make sense). He works for Queen and helps her make mixtapes they are besties. Still not sure what he’d be in the lightworld. Maybe a music program that is installed on the computer?

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve.
Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.
If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.
Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

Not only will this ruin a core element of Tumblr, it will make it very difficult to tell where and when a post is getting traction. People are on this website because it isn't Twitter. Making it more like Twitter will turn people away.
The last thing this website needs is a culture of catty twitter-style quote-retweets. This will actively encourage more toxic users to interact with your posts because their traffic will be more difficult to track.

New Pokémon announcement dropped for Pokémon day. Honestly gen 10 is looking decent, I’m happy they’re taking another year to work on it and patch any issues before releasing the game. Unfortunately I don’t have a Switch 2 so I’m going to have to try and save money for that…
The new starters look cute! I’m a fan of the water gecko and fire dog one. The grass starter looks a bit odd but maybe they evolve into a cool grass bird (thinking tropical parrot or maybe a vulture because that would be cool).
I know it’s never gonna happen but very sad for no Pokémon Rangers or Mystery Dungeon acknowledgment. I know Pokémon Rangers might never happen again but I keep my hopes up every year.
Anyways I’m very excited to see how generation 10 plays out! Happy Pokémon day!
I’m genuinely pissed at my professor for this ecology class. Stop fucking using generative AI for your ECOLOGY CLASS. Not like LLM databases are taking up so much water that it’s harming the environment or anything! Fuck off man. He could’ve just got a stock image, OR IDK A SCIENTIFIC IMAGE BECAUSE THIS IS A SCIENCE CLASS. I am a continuous hater of generative AI and seeing this prof do this is so disgusting and disappointing.
