lover is a perfect album to spend your summer listening to. it’s like driving in a cabriolet while the wind is playing with your hair, it’s colorful evenings with a pink orange sky, it’s warm sunsets on a beach when the water is calm and fresh sunrises in your place with open windows and golden shadows in the kitchen while you talk to someone you’re insanely and completely in love with, it’s laughing with your closest people in the whole world about silliest things, it’s dancing in the crowd and getting ispired, it’s simple but touching words, it’s smiling at your mother in the garden and holding her hand, it’s bittersweet state of nostalgia that makes your heart warm, it’s flowers and the smell of freeway, it’s being in love with people, with music, with cities, with new worlds, it’s just a summer itself to me

idk what introvert needs to hear this but please check yourself when ur saying stuf like “staying in your room all weekend by yourself watching netflix is much better than going out and being social” because speaking from experience it’s very easy to confuse being introverted and isolating yourself to cope with anxiety and depression please reach out to your friends and make an effort to live your life and say yes to things, there’s no harm in enjoying your own company but please try to avoid shutting yourself away because you’ve convinced yourself that you’re better alone it’s seriously a recipe for loneliness and will really fuck with your self worth
