“How can I help?” Max asked, looking around. “I could take you into town?”

haven nodded with a small smile. “yeah that would be great. i think i can find my way from there,” she admitted.

“Oh I think we all kind of felt that way,” Tara admitted with a laugh, emerald hues falling on the red head. “Well, no, actually I thought I had died or something because when I got here… There was Nic- Not dead anymore.” A brow perked in amusement as she shook her head, laughter falling from her lips in ease. “Oh he’ll prove it,” she grinned. “He refuses to tell me the secret ingredient. Jokes on him though cause I’ll figure it out one of these days. Yes, well, you need more meat on your body. I haven’t a clue where you put all that food I feed you. What do you do, run marathons when you leave my place?”

“well at least i’m not alone, i guess,” she replied with a chuckle, running a hand through her long hair. “so you’re telling me that people who were dead are coming back to life? oh great. that’s.....wow,” she said, her mind going a million miles an hour. “alright, alright. still think it’s a crazy thought.” haven ducked her head slightly. “yeah well you’ll never know cause i don’t want to hear the lecture,” she countered, scrunching her face slightly.

The younger girl looked even more startled once she noticed Hayley, her little jump giving her nervousness away. “Yeah, that’s exactly what I said unfortunately,” the hybrid said with a drawn-out sigh. “Believe me, I’m just as annoyed at having to say that than you are dismayed at hearing it. Where are you from?”

haven blew out a breath of air. so she wasn’t the first to go through it. somehow that didn’t necessarily make things better. but she appreciated the other’s attitude. “great. that’s....awesome. originally? texas. since leaving there? a little of everywhere. i was in new orleans before i got dragged here.”

“None of us among those that have been pulled into these Isles is among the listed. No one is certain how or what dragged us from our homes.” Klaus answered honestly. There wasn’t any reason to lie to the woman or try to soften the blow. The sooner she understood things, the better, in his opinion. He did shrug his shoulders, however.

“Whether or not these Isles existed first or whether the Arthurian legends are mere coincidence is uncertain. I’ve spent the past few months sorting through other myths becoming reality, so right now I think anything would be possible.” He stated.

haven blew out some air out through her mouth. “of course not. that would just be too easy, right?” she asked with a sigh. she wasn’t used to things being sugar coated anyways. 

“i just....i was into the myths as a kid so that’s what popped into my head i guess,” she reasoned. “okay well if it the same avalon, my inner child is gonna flip,” she quipped softly. “wait what do you mean other myths becoming reality?”

“Something like that, yeah,” Tara retorted.  “Hey, whoa, deep breaths, Haven. We don’t know why yet but believe me there’s a lot of us trying to figure it out. As to how that we still don’t know either. All we know is that we all experienced the same storm and sink hole and then ended up here. We haven’t got much else yet but I promise we’re gonna figure it out.” A laugh was quick to flee her lips as she shook her head. “Oh just you wait,” she mused. “You’re in for such a treat.”

haven took a deep breath. “yeah. right. guess i kinda got carried away again, huh?” she asked, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. haven let out a sigh. “i feel like i’ve hit my head and ended up in wonderland or something,” she replied, rubbing her temple. “hm. i won’t believe it until it’s proven. you’re literally like the best cook ever. even though you keep shoving food down my throat,” she chuckled. she had always downplayed just how underweight she was.

“You look a little lost there,” Jasper spoke, approaching slowly so as to not scare the girl. “You alright? Need help finding someone or some place? I’m not too sure where all every place ‘round here is yet but I know the gist of it.”

haven looked behind her. “oh, uh, yeah actually. i’ve managed to get myself good and lost i think. and i don’t really know how to get back,” she chuckled awkwardly.

“You look like someone who just woke up in fairy land and had no fucking idea where she is,” Hayley said to the younger girl, recognizing the look on her face all too well. She had the same just a short time ago after all. “Am I close? You’re not in hell and you’re not dreaming either, if it helps. Those were my first two questions.”

haven jumped slightly when she heard a voice behind her. she gave the other a sheepish look. “uh, yeah actually. not a single clue, actually,” she replied. she let out a breath. “oh. well great? that’s good to know i think. wait, you said fairy land?” she asked.

“You alright?” Max called out to the stranger, she looked lost and scared. “Anything I can do to help?” He wasn’t sure what he could really do, but he knew what it was like to feel alone and lost. 

haven looked back and offered a shy smile. “yeah, uhm i’m afraid i’ve gotten myself lost. still kind of unfamiliar with this whole.....fairy land,” she admitted, shifting awkwardly.

“She is… I think it’s rubbed off on us all…and pops is stubborn too… so we have double stubbornness.” he chuckled. “Hey!” he replied. “You already know my name… assuming mom told you it..” he admitted to the other. “Still… I know it can still be hard at times…” he stated. “It is… I’m really surprised how we aren’t all sizes of houses… well me anyway… I would eat her cooking all day long..” Hunter stated. 

“that doesn’t surprise me,” she laughed, shaking her head. “i swear if she had superpowers, that would be it.” haven nodded. relaxing just a fraction. he was nice. practically exactly how tara described him. “yeah i know your name.” haven shifted. talking about her parents led to a lot of questions. “yeah. it is.” she took a deep breath. “i don’t even live with her and i feel like i’m huge after she practically force feeds me. says i don’t eat enough,” she chuckled.

Hunted nodded his head a little. “Yep, that sounds like mom… if she get something in her head, that’s it.” he teased. “Oh right, I’m sorry..” he admitted. He knew that others could not be as open as he was to talk about their parent’s death, but he didn’t see it as an issue personally as he just saw Nic and Tara as his parents. “She is.. and her cooking’s even better..” he admitted. 

haven chuckled and nodded. “yeah she’s kind of stubborn, that’s for sure. wasn’t exactly willing at first but she wore me down,” she replied. “oh i’m haven by the way. i don’t remember if i said that,” she added. the red head shrugged. “it was awhile ago,” she muttered. “oh gosh her cooking is addicting, that’s for sure. i swear she’s trying to make me fat.” not that she could haven was severely underweight.

Hunter watched the female and nodded a little. “Yup that’s me…alive and kicking,” he teased. Hearing the female explain, Hunter nodded again. “Yeah, she’s my safe space too… and she adopted me too, so yay for us..” he stated. “Although her and my dad were my god parents and my birth parent’s died, so maybe they got lumbered with me or felt obliged to adopt me…. but I couldn’t ask for better parent’s, I wouldn’t want any others… my mom has a big heart, the biggest.” he admitted giving her a smile. 

haven let out a little chuckle. “well i mean technically speaking i’m too old to be adopted but apparently that didn’t matter,” she replied, shaking her head a little. “i don’t....my parents died too so there’s that,” she added. she didn’t like to talk about her parents. even after so many years, it still felt fresh. “she’s great.”

Hunter watched her for a moment, and as the dogs name rolled from the females lips, Hunter raised a brow. As the dog greeted the female, Hunter knew she wasn’t gonna cause trouble like some of the faye had to their kind recently.  “Tara? Yeah, shes my mom!” he admitted. “And stormy’s my dog…. well mine and my brothers. “ he admitted.

haven looked up at the other from her place on the ground and swallowed. so this was tara’s son. “oh so you must be hunter then,” she said, standing up. “uhm, i’m haven. tara’s kind of my safe place,” she admitted. “kinda forcefully adopted me,” she added with a small chuckle, wrapping her arms around herself. she wasn’t sure how her actual son would respond to her but she always tended to prepare for the worst.

Hunter inhaled another puff of smoke and his eyes caught sight of the female watching the dog. After allowing the trapped smoke escaping his lips, he called over to her. “She’s okay… as long as you allow her to sniff your hand first, then if she doesn’t growl, you can pet… usually if she was going to dislike you, she would be growling by now..” he admitted with a chuckle. 

haven chewed her lip but moved closer to the other with a small smile. as she got closer, she recognized the dog. “storm!” she said excitedly. “hey there girl,” she added as the dog hurried over to her. she happily pet the dog. “so you know tara, then?” she asked.

Hunter sat along the banking watching Storm as she ran around. He was happy to have the chance to spend time with her, and hoped that his time with her put his mind off adopting another animal - if the had animals for adoption in Avalon. It was nice for him to have his thoughts to himself and to have time to process everything that had happened. Pulling a cigarette out, he placed it between his lips and lit it before removing it in between his fingers and exhaling a puff of smoke.

haven was wandering around, mostly exploring. she wanted to know what she could about her new location. she didn’t like the fact that she’d been thrown in a new place without knowing anything about it. she couldn’t help the small smile when she spotted an animal running around happily. she’d always wanted a pet but of course she hadn’t been allowed anything in the hospital. she just watched the animal, letting herself relax a little bit.

Hope raises her brow, “Oh, I just assumed everyone turned up at the same time…” She muses before clearing her throat and looking around with a small gesture with her hand, “Its Avalon, home of fairy people apparently and some of the lost creatures of Malivore. Though I guess we should stop calling them that…” What else to call them she wasn’t sure, The Really Old Ones? The Natural Supernatural, none of it really seemed to fit.

“well with how things go with me, i probably hit my head or something,” she said with a sigh. haven paused and blinked at the other. “so....so you’re telling me.....that we’re on an island that’s from arthurian mythology with other....what m-m...magical creatures?” she asked, struggling with the word. she hated that that word still bothered her. she’d been out for a couple of years. she should be over it, right? “i don’t understand how this happened.” 

Even as the months rolled by since the outsiders had arrived in Avalon, it seemed as though few stragglers were starting to come around not that Matteo could figure out how exactly they survived for months in the woods but more props to them. The lost look on the red heads features only told him that this girl was one of those stragglers, or at least he assumed. “You lost, miss,” Matteo questioned, slowly approaching the young girl.

haven jumped a little before turning when she heard the voice. “uh, yeah. yeah i have no idea where i am,” she admitted, fidgeting with her hair. “you look like you do know so could, uh, you help me out?” she asked. though she wasn’t used to asking people for help anymore. not for years. she’d been taking care of herself but, still. seeking help seemed foreign. 

Hearing the female, Ace looked over to her removing his nail from his mouth and taking a moment to actually allow his brain to compute what the female had asked him. Finally able to understand it and getting back to the moment, he let out almost a nervous laugh. “Well… apparently this is Avalon home of the Faye… like an alternate realm… that freak storm brought people here…” he admitted. “And I wouldn’t have thought so… though I did think I might have been tripping when I turned up here.”

haven blinked. “we’re.....in another realm?” she asked, her expression one of confusion. “okay now i think maybe we’re all tripping,” she chuckled nervously. “okay this is just....weird. sorry, i just didn’t expect this,” she rambled slightly.
