Hi Witches! My best friend has been going on a spree of cutting people out of her life this year (2 friends and 2 family members so far) and I think sheās started cutting me out too, sheās been snappy and rude for over a week and has told me to stop messaging her. Iām angry, but also hurt. Have you got any suggestions on something I can do on myself to help me either accept this, or improve myself so she doesnāt cut me out?

Iām so sorry this took so long to respond to. Weāve had a lot of stuff going on.Ā I really hope that youāre doing well, and that youāve been able to work through missing your friend. Or that you have managed to work things out with your friend.
If someone needs to cut you out of their life, most of the time... thatās on them. And you canāt know the reason. It sucks, like, really sucks. But you gotta respect if sheās asked you to not to message her. You can leave the door open if she wants to walk back in.
If sheās cutting people out, she might be going through something. Itās hard to know, and I donāt want to speculate. As much as it suuuuucks, you can be there for her without putting pressure on her. Giving her the space she needs.
THAT SAID. Itās so hard not to be angry, truuuust I know. And if you need to just close that door... thatās okay too. Being cut out is hard, and youāre allowed to set your own boundaries.
Iām sorry I donāt have better advice. But we are here if you want to talk.

In the end, she did completely cut me out, but I think itās been for the best. I stress a lot less about trying to keep the other people in my life happy than I did her.
I hope she finds what sheās looking for in herself and has a long, fulfilled life and is happy.
(Because Iām happier without her!š)

Sometimes, and this took me a LONG time to learn... people can be not good for us, without being bad people. Idk what all the situation here is, but I am glad that you have processed this in what seems like a healthy manner, and youāre less stressed. We could all use a little less stress these days!
