their dyanmic is so interesting and the fact its able to blossom at all is so bittersweet. elite has done horrible things, accepted he deserves to die for it. m is a victim of his crimes, he can kill him. And he doesnt. Elite gives him a perfect chance to do so, and M lets it go. because at the campfire, that night, elite showed signs of humanity. not violence, or blind militarism. humanity. Something that M has been searching for for years.

something else i like is Elite giving M a large amount of control in the dyanmic. campfire scene is one thing but he let's M go off after the assistant, immediately folding and following him. he lets M whack him (which. is highkey deserved!) and be close to him. I dont think elite understands the full extent of twisteds abuse but I think he understands that Ms been under people's foot for so long. he lets M have control and feel safe being around him

they're arguably one of the healthier ships and one of the most doomed

Another thing is M had been abused so much up to that point and he really didn't need to give Elite his trust but chose to despite both of their pasts and it's just, that feeling where you know they're together or at least think of each other in that way but it's not canon canon

Favorite:Alex and Hypno :> they are my underloved duo and I will make the rest of the fandom know about their strange friendship! I also really like Alex and Guardian they're so silly. I wish we could have seen Hypno interact with Guardian bc I probably would have loved them too

Least favorite:Sabre and Rainbow. After all the bullshit Sabre pulled with him...I don't want Rainbow near that thing.

Familial-

Favorite:Galaxy and Time! We needed to see them interact more,Galaxy is a good father to one Steve and it is him,the episode of them meeting is so sweet

Least favorite:...Galaxy and Illusion. The way Illusion talks about his ties to him is HAUNTING. Get Lu away from him NOW

Romantic-

Favorite:HYPNO AND RAINBOW :DDD they're everything to me they're so intertwined they're a permanent feature of the landscape that is eachother's life and also they kiss (second place goes to Bluebow,third to Hypblubow)
