Hello all you new Starkid fans and welcome to our little corner of tumblr! We’re glad to have you! There’s so much wonderful content for you to enjoy, and I’d like to give you a tour of some Starkid projects and some projects Starkid members have participated in!

Starkid has 11 other musicals besides TGWDLM that are completely free on their YouTube channel! I’d recommend Black Friday, Trail To Oregon, Twisted, and Starship which are my personal favorites (my favorite being TGWDLM)/ They also have a series they performed during quarantine called Nightmare Time that exists in the Hatchetfield Universe!

If you watched all their musicals and you’re looking for more, I’d recommend Spies Are Forever by the Tin Can Brothers! They are kind of like a sister company to Starkid and have all sorts of fun sketches and shows on their YouTube channel! They’ve also performed other fun shows like Solve It Squad and just put out a web series called Wayward Guide! (Note, those last two aren’t musicals)

If you’re looking for more of a serious musical, check out Starry, a musical about Vincent Van Gogh! This is a completely independent show, but it features several familiar faces and some wonderful and emotional music!

If you want more great and similar content, I’d recommend watching Poe Party and The Case of the Gilded Lily by Shipwrecked Comedy! I You can find their channel here! Much like Tin Can Bros, they are associated with several Starkid members but are not Starkid.

Are you more of a fan of classic musical theatre? Well several Starkids have been a part of the hilarious Shitty Broadway which takes musical theatre songs and gives them a twist. (My personal favorite is Lauren Lopez’s Waving Through a Window, which I’ve actually drawn in the past!)
