“And then Simon walked up to tell Robert that he was leaving. They embraced and …kissed! Just a quick peck. Then more goodbyes. Then another quick kiss! Still more goodbyes, and then they hugged a bit longer, and Simon kissed Robert on the neck!”

“I kiss Simon sometimes. Why? Because I feel like doing it, that’s it. I don’t usually do things that I don’t want to do.”

“Doing things like touring turns you into an idiot… reading and conversation are the only things that keep you alive. And kissing.”

I really liked him. He was not what I had expected. Very straightforward, relatable person, very down-to-earth, very bright and very easy to converse with, and I feel like because of the make-up and stuff I might have had some assumptions that there would be somebody with a more exotic personality but it was just this very intelligent, cool dude who is wearing lipstick.

I’m surprised that after this amount of time I still get excited by it [being in the band]. I thought I would’ve run out by now. But that’s what’s nice about having the other four that are around at the moment because they make me feel little again. Particularly having Simon back, that’s really good. And it’s nice to have someone hunky on stage after this long, long time.
